The food was good, but the service was terrible. Lovely girl but was nowhere to be found when we needed menus, was ready to order, water, coffee dessert menu….. I can understand if the restaurant was busy, but it was a very cold day, and the restaurant was not busy at all.

Chicken was over cooked. Definitely been in the sous vide too long. It was mushy. My steak had good flavor but was undercooked. Fries were cold. Been several times and it was very good but very disappointed this time and not sure we’ll go back.

Table wasn't ready for reservation time. No place to sit while waiting for table. This is issue as my 79-year-old Mother was with us. Menu is small. Food was good. Service was slow, especially for beverages. Agreed that we would not choose to go back.

Hudson house is a nice place. Our salads were good. We had to wait over 15 minutes for our 12:45 reservation. There were 15 people in front of the reservation desk. There is really no place to wait. The bar was full. So seems like the restaurant was overbooked. We were near two groups, not huge just too loud for us to hear each other. Our waiter greeted us pretty quickly but did not come back too ask how the food was. He did reappear with the check. So ok food, reasonable prices and a few areas or improvement.

Great lunch spot, the sushi was fresh and delicious. My salad was crisp and abundant, and the desserts were divine!

I really wanted to love my experience here as I reserved a dinner for my birthday with some friends, but unfortunately we had one of the worst service experiences to date. We had been sitting for almost 20 mins and our server had not been by to ask if any of our group wanted drinks (we did). Seeing as she was nowhere to be found, I got up to use the restroom. walked in to our server just standing by the sink playing on her phone. She continued to do this even throughout me using the restroom and washing my hands/leaving. There was no shame in it. We had to ask the bartender if we could order from him, at which point he tried to find our waitress, as he could not take drink orders for the entire table. There were at least 3 employees looking for her by the time she finally emerged (note this was probably 5 minutes after I myself had left the BR). Just left a really poor taste in our mouths after this experience. The food was good just sad about our service experience.
