Hugo's Frog Bar & Fish House opened its doors in February 1997 in the heart of Chicago's Gold Coast neighborhood, next to sister restaurant Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse. Over Enjoy the city's finest seafood restaurant, Hugo's continues to be the destination for premier east and west coast oysters, crudos, frog legs, lobster and seasonal fish and shellfish, in addition to Gibsons Prime Angus and Gibsons Grassfed Australian steaks. An extensive wine list, classic cocktail list and selection of impressive signature desserts accompany the menu of fresh seafood, steaks and chops. Beautiful private dining and events spaces available. Gluten-free and vegan options available. Happy Hour Sun-Thurs, 3-6pm.

Dine in Hugo’s exclusive private booth that was fashioned out of an elevator that once belonged to Winston Churchill. This booth has been called one of the most romantic seats in the city and is one of the most instagrammable tables in the country. Includes a complimentary champagne toast and seats 2-4 people.

Frank was absolutely stellar and made me feel so special and appreciated on my birthday. Amazing fish, fantastic crab cake and drinks were strong but delicious and drinkable. Loved how they staggered the meals and 2+ hours enjoying a lovely meal without waiting long between courses. He was also gracious enough to move us into a comfortable booth instead of a corner 2-top table and really appreciated their hospitality. Will definitely go back!

Our server Luke - was professionally attentive and very knowledgeable about the specials and the freshest entrees. He has an incredibly sweet disposition and an intuitive knowledge of his customers The food is always delicious, the atmosphere is powerful and dynamic yet fun and interesting Highly recommend

We were in town to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and Hugo’s remains a favorite place we return to when we come to Chicago. The food is wonderful, but the service is impeccable. Frank is a true pro and made our evening with our three kids enjoyable. Thank you for remaining consistent and delightful!
