   From the moment we walked through the door everything was top notch. Our waiter, Bruce, was outstanding. The food was amazing and the cocktails……wow.

   I am a repeat customer here I come here for the great food great service. I’m walking in and they say hello. They all remember everybody. They do a great handshake. Nice to see you again. Everyone has great people skills. I’ve never had to send any of the food ever back the food is always top-notch quality. The audience is great. If you become a little bit later, they have music playing Piano playing guitar. Definitely a 5 Star Pl. happy hour is the longest happy hour in downtown 3 to 7 PM so you don’t have to rush take your time and enjoy great conversation great food and great people. Thanks for being in the core of the downtown Calgary.

   We had a reservation for 18 (ranging from age 5 to 77) to celebrate a 75 birthday and the Hy's venue with an area that changed to a private room was fantastic. The menu selection was first class and the service was top notch. THANKS for a memorable evening!!

   Our waiter Dino was fantastic, very attentive and had a great sense of humor. Also enjoyed the live music. Food was delicious, as always. Looking forward to celebrating another birthday in a few months.

   Standard advice is to avoid the fish at a steakhouse but it doesn't apply at Hy’s. Dino and staff provided a great date night and I changed it up and went with the pickerel, which was delicious. It followed Calgary's best Caesar salad and was accompanied by delicious cocktails and excellent non-American wine. Vive Le Canada! Vive Hy’s!

    When you make your reservation, ask to sit in Justin's area. The BEST server we have ever had the pleasure of dining with!
