Ida Claire is a funky, southern influenced restaurant & bar open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is notched up southern but has influences from different regions. You’ll most likely see dishes you’ve heard of before but with little twists here and there.

Our sandwiches will be served on biscuits & we’ll have chicken & waffles on every menu. Brunch is obviously southern & will be a big part of what we do. The drinks are takes on classics like the Mint Julep but revved up & including a lot of house made ingredients.

Service is really slow. Apps came out before drinks arrived. The ancient grains salad has great things in it, but the shrimp were really overcooked, like black and crunchy. Biscuits are truly the best thing there.

Service was awesome. Phenomenal waitress (Rachel). Food was good. Ribs were good but not outstanding. Lobster Mac was really good as was the jalapeño bread.

We dined at Ida Claire's yesterday, and what an exceptional experience. From the greeter at the door to the welcoming staff as we walked to our table, to our very knowledgeable waitress Claudia, and superb food, this place is a must go to while in San Antonio TX. Everything, everything, from homemade biscuits with honey butter and fresh preserve,fried oysters , crab cakes, and redfish entre, was simply AMAZING!!! I will definitely be going back.. Don't miss the opportunity to have some great food 😋

Really enjoyed the spring break menu that included new items and brunch favs . I was able to try the lemon poppyseed pancakes, which were outstanding. I always love the decor and the excellent and friendly service -love introducing friends to your restaurant!! Sat inside today, but it was a perfect day to sit outside!!

Everyone made us feel like family. Specialty cocktails were creative and tasteful. The pork chop was delicious. Definitely going back!
