NYE 2025- Chef's 3 course dinner- The sever was very friendly and was attentive-our food was delicious and attractively served, the only thing that could have been better was the length of time we had to wait for our main course to arrive. The server did apologize letting us know that the kitchen was behind with the meal my spouse ordered and made it better by comping him a glass of wine. They had party hats for us and decorations hanging up on the walls and on the tables, it was quite festive and overall a lovely way to start our evening. We love coming to this restaurant and frequent it when we come to Seattle. I would tell you to go to it, but then the secret gets out and reservations become scarce for me when I want to go because of popularity!

The short ribs had an off putting taste and the lamb chops were tough. The New York strip was the only good dish in our party.

A huge thank you to Melissa and all of the staff at Il Bistro for making our Christmas day dinner such a delicious and magical event! Our family was flying from Phoenix to Anchorage and wanted to stop and see my parents in Seattle… the Christmas dinner at Il Bistro was the perfect place to meet and enjoy time (and amazing food) together! But it required a lot of coordination, since our layover was only 4.5 hours - a tight window to get off the plane, into a cab, speed downtown, and get into the restaurant in time to meet my 80-year-old parents for our 5:30 PM reservation, and since reservations booked up so quickly, we had no room for error. Fortunately, Melissa helped us coordinate everything…it seemed the entire staff knew of our situation and was ready to help, treating my parents graciously, assisting them with nearby parking when they arrived, and seating them comfortably at our quiet corner table overlooking the restaurant so they could see us as soon as we came in. Such a gift! And the food was so delicious! Truly an unforgettable night 💕 Thank you Il Bistro!

Il Bistro has the best Italian food around! It’s tucked away b/n Pike Place Market & Post Alley. It’s a charming establishment with wonderful food & service. Highly recommend!

The prices are much too high. We had a fish of the day, which was scallops, but the plate was primarily pasta.

Appetizers great, wine selection solid, service just right. The entrées, however, were overpriced and underwhelming. The carbonara closer to an alfredo with meager bits of prosciutto. The flavor profile was shallow and disappointing. It was not terrible, but it was not worth the price.

I brought my adult daughters here after not having been here in literally decades. It was still the same, great service, professional and the food was delicious. I know it's more of a date night thing, but it was wonderful to have a nice dinner with my daughters after Christmas shopping. I highly recommend.
