il Bracco is an upscale Italian restaurant in the heart of Uptown, Houston, located in Post Oak Plaza. Our menu features handmade pastas, fresh salads, hand-cut steaks & seafood, and an extensive yet approachable wine list.

Breads, pasta and dessert are made from scratch, in house daily.

Our dining room is made of intimate booths with a full service bar and cocktail lounge, as well as a quiet patio with an outdoor fire place.

Our first time at Il Bracco's and it was a great experience overall for us. The pastas were excellent and the meatballs were the best we ever had. We will definitely return.

Really enjoyed dinner here! Drinks were made perfectly! Loved the fried artichokes, meatballs and focaccia. Of the entrees we ordered, the sheet pan lasagna was our favorite followed by the bolognese. The Marsala trumpets were good but not particularly special. Tiramisu and cheesecake were the perfect ending to the meal! I’ll definitely be back. Thank you!

Great service & delicious food! We had a wonderful server & everyone was very nice. We loved the artichokes & steak tartare which is amazing! The chicken piccata also very good. Lovely atmosphere & we only had to wair a few minutes past our reservation time. Definitely will return!

Table not ready. Nice staff but felt very rushed. Christmas Eve and no decorations at all. Overpriced compared to other spots we like.

3 of the 4 people at the table got their food but the 4th person ordered chicken piccata and we had to wait more than 10 minutes for her plate to arrive. It was poor timing of the kitchen we didn’t get all the food. Those of us with our food waited til the 4th person food arrived.

I went to Il Bracco for my birthday lunch with 3 friends. Menu had good choices. Food was good and value ok, but unfortunately we had bad service. With many servers and managers walking around the restaurant, it took a long time to get our meals and a much longer time to get the correct dessert. With all the other restaurant choices in Houston, it will be awhile until I return to Il Bracco.

My friend and I had an incredible dining experience, and a big part of that was thanks to Sam, our amazing waiter. From the moment we sat down, he made us feel welcomed and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. Sam took the time to explain the menu, recommend dishes, and even introduced us to some new items we wouldn’t have thought to try ourselves – and let me tell you, everything he suggested was absolutely delicious! The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, with just the right balance of energy and coziness. The food was packed with flavor and beautifully presented, and the drinks were perfectly crafted – honestly some of the best I’ve had. This place exceeded our expectations in every way, and I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re looking for a spot with outstanding service, fantastic food and drinks, and a great atmosphere, this is it. 10/10, I’ll definitely be back!

This was our first time visiting here and the experience was exceptional! Our waiter was friendly, offered several suggestions from the menu and even made a point to bring out a special anniversary dessert for my wife and I celebrating our 13th anniversary. Price was fair for amount of food, quality of ingredients and the atmosphere. We will definitely be returning again and again!
