   Always pleases! I will say, beware that delicious, GIANT roll — you’ll spoil your dinner. One note to management— out waiter must have stepped out for a smoke. When he returned and leaned in to discuss wine with me— ugh! Not a terribly pleasant odor with our meal.

   We’ve always loved coming to Il Capriccio, but this time really blew us away. I planned a dinner for my husband’s birthday with 7 of our friends and we had an absolutely incredible time. The food is next level, the service is impeccable with kind, caring and extremely efficient staff, and the ambiance was unbeatable. This is absolutely one of, if not THE, top restaurants in the area. Huge thank you to the amazing team there for always delivering.

   We know the menu, consistent in its excellence, tonight’s special of sole and lobster risotto demonstrates that they do new as well as standards. Il Capricio shines above all in its wine list and its waitstaff’s knowledge of its wines and their pairings. Consistently excellent for many years, and our favorite from our first meal forward.

   This was our first time here to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The service was terrific, and the food was wonderful, both in presentation and flavor. Our server, Joan, was very knowledgeable and helpful. The tuna tartare and chips was an exceptional appetizer, and our entrees, the veal porterhouse and my chicken in mustard caper sauce were very tasty. The birthday dessert of baked Alaska was a great end to the meal. We look forward to returning!

   Always a great dinning experience. Service is impeccable, and the food is very good. The servers are very knowledgeable about the menu.

   Dishes look very good on paper but not executed great. Most of them are pretty bland and not very flavoufull despite high prices. It used to be a great restaurant before it move to new fancier bigger location and new chef.

   Beautiful new(er) space, GREAT service, personable. The food was good. They didn’t pressure us to leave. A really nice evening and we’ll definitely return.
