Illume New Year’s Eve was good but not great. We enjoyed the food, the 360 boot and ambience. The DJ sucked…. Big time but we made the most out of music… one of things that did not sit right with me is I paid $1800 for a group of 5 for outdoor seating and when we arrive the Host is telling me we did not.. I had to make my stance to ensure what I paid for. Then the manager decided to seat us outside.. the host then placed a party of 5 on a big table to seat 8 guest. Then I had to make another request for a lounge chair so we could be closer… the host then placed us on a sofa that had no heater close. We arrived at 9:30 and was told all the other spaces been reserved for guest who didn’t even arrive yet. It was a nice experience but will not be returning due to the service. Good and other employees were polite and respectful.

New Years Eve party. Overpriced for the experience. Making it expensive did limit the number of people there so it wasn’t crowded. But the food was… ok. Should have included more drinks at no charge for the price. And the fireworks at midnight were a let down. That’s not their fault; these were Disney fireworks. But, they weren’t special for NYE and that’s why we wanted to at the rooftop restaurant. Would not do this again unless there was more value for the price paid. The food at the lobby party looked better.

The New Year celebration was excellent with covering all three of my requirements which were excellent service, food, and entertainment. The service was superb with a smile and the entire team was enthusiastic and engaged with joy. The food was beyond my expectations and over the top. Never missed detail with presentation nor taste. Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. The entertainment was amazing with the city on the background and a great DJ. Worth every single dollar and will do it again next year. It’s my go to event to welcome the new year.

If you know sushi - it was like going to a Chinese restaurant and ordering it. It was sub par trying to be fancy. The shishito peppers came out half blistered and other half charred burnt. Then there were the random edamame in there, covered by too much flakes to hide it, was my presumption. We ordered the chefs special and two other nigiri plates plus the shisito peppers. Service was eh… I was waiting for my water and my husband to order another drink. What should have been an. Hour of delight turned into almost 2 hours of waiting for attention. I truly would not recommend anyone go here. As soon as we got back to the room, I was looking at the room service menu. If you really think this place was great then kudos to you! You must like spending $ for Walmart feel and even Walmart would have been better.

Service and cocktails were excellent. Enjoyable view, fireworks from amusement parks in the distance. Sushi was good, not excellent. Overall, good date night or a relaxing evening.

I had an amazing experience in here, the food was amazing and the atmosphere is amazing as well. This place became even more special because this is the place where I proposed my girlfriend, so this place have a special place in our heart! 10/10!!

Illume is one of if not the worst restaurants that I have ever dined at. The service is awful. Half of the food that we ordered was not delivered to our table because the waiter who disappeared for almost the entire time forgot to put it in. The cooked food was ok at best. The sushi was disgusting and not fit for human consumption. JW Marriott should be ashamed that they have such a low quality restaurant in their brand new property.
