                                                This was my first time at Confidence. My husband and I went for valentines day. I would have to say I am extremely disappointed in the service. It took over 40 minutes to get a drink ( only got 2 drinks in 4 hours). And the server brought the wrong wine as well. ( She didnt even apologize and/or seem to care. The bartenders and everyone just stood around in groups of four most of the night while one bartender made all the drinks. There was barely anyone in the bar we we arrived and pouring a glass of wine and making and old fashion doesnt take long. Also the lights were pretty bright and didnt have a good ambience for the evening. Really would just take a look at your staff. This was very disappointing.

                                                We did not order food but had to rate it regardless. Great ambience! However, music MUST be soft jazz for a true speak easy, not pop or whatever was playing! Ruined the atmosphere!

                                                There is no food service here- I had the highest of hopes when I read other reviews and was excited to try. I am a big fan of other local cocktail bars. The vibe here is cool, dark, basementy- but a cocktail bar has to have good cocktails and I dare say mine was terrible. My husband ordered a Smokey Old Fashioned-y type drink which came with cafeteria type ice cubes. I got a vanilla old fashioned which was neither vanilla or anything near an old fashioned. It was basically watered down whisky with the same awful ice cubes. Our server was fine but from our spot we watched the bartender make some blunders and then acknowledge them out loud to the server before shipping the drinks off to tables. This place just made me sad and I was ready to leave the cocktails and the experience on the table and go elsewhere. For $22 a drink, it’s almost unforgivable.

                                                We had a reservation for 9 and 2, they put us all together in a comfortable conversation space. It took the waitress over 15 mins upon arrival to come greet us and take our order. We have been here before and this was far from as busy as we have experienced. She returned with the start of our orders but had already forgotten to bring a bottle not a glass for one of my friends. She went to get him his bottle, yet didn't distribute anyone elses drinks. It took her 15 mins at least to return with his bottle as well as a couple of drinks. She left and returned about 10-12 minutes later with the rest of the groups drinks. AND THAT WAS THE END OF THE SERVICE. She neveronce returned to check on us, refill our drinks. NOTHING. The bar was NOT FULL. BOOTHS were freely open. There were patrons sitting up at the bar but there were 4 employees! 2 of my friends had to go up there to even get an other drink. Some of our group ended up leaving to go to the their hotel room because we weren't even waited on. Once we brought this up to our waitress, she mad eup a lame excuse and then proceed to see if we needed anything else. Obviously we were done and over it. This is unacceptable. We had such a wonderful experience last time even crowded in a booth and it VERY busy!! Need to train staff on better customer service and at least checking in and by the way NOT ONE apology from the waitress. DISAPPOINTING, most likely will not return and will share with others. We did share with those who were waiting in line.

                                                There was no food being served, so that is the low rating there. The drinks and staff were great! The live jazz was a plus, and the atmosphere was relaxing and inviting.

                                                It was a very nice visit with family. I am glad I made reservations because I do not know if we could have gone to this place without reservations. We had a nice high top table for four. Our sever Meghan was fantastic. The drinks were tasty and the ambience was nice. The noise level was good. There is a larger room that looks like it could hold no more than 25 people. We will return and try to reserve that room. NO Food that we could see which is the only downside. Would highly recommend this place.
