   Wonderful find. Our waitress was amazing.... she was so knowledgeable about the food preparation and delightful. The food was creative, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious

   The staff was lovely and helpful. The food was overpriced and not that tasty. They serve their hummus with rye “crisps” which are just rye flour and water rolled out thin and baked. Hard and tasteless. The carrot tartare was interesting but too much chili oil. Greek salad was great.

   Everything about our meal was terrific including the host who was kind enough to find us two seats at the bar while we waited for a booth and then advised us when our table was ready and carried our drinks over for us. Our server (Erik) was wonderful, made us feel right at home. The food was excellent, specially the whipped feta and pita appetizer.

   We had been to another restaurant of Chef John Fraser named La Marchand and the food and atmosphere were worthy. Today we decided to try Iris as a post theater dinner. It did not disappoint! Our waitress Alicia B was possibly one of the best, knowledgeable of food & wine, attentive, and so personable. She made our experience above bar! I highly recommend! Excellent Aegean Cuisine. 🧿

    A favorite of ours on the West Side. Food is consistently very good, and wines are excellent without being overpriced. Bar drinks are on the pricey side ($20+), so consider alternatives (right down W. 55th) for a pre-dinner libation.
