   Our waitress was nice. Food took a while. One person had an allergy and waitress documented and it still came out with that item on the food. They took it back. No manager came over. Other foods were good.

   I understand it was Easter so they were busy. 5 of our 6 dinners came out together. The last one came out after others were done. They did not tell us there would be a significant delay. We had a brunch menu (no dinner entrees) and they still ran out of home fries, again only letting us know after a long wait. Then at the end, they charged our credit card for another table’s bill. The food was fine (we were expecting at least a ham entree) but the terrible service was inexcusable.

   The food was good and offered at a fair price. The hostess was arrogant and unaccommodating. We made a reservation 3 weeks in advance and she seated our party of 13 at two separate tables that were easily put together but when we asked she refused. Our waitress spoke to the manager and we were able to put them together. The waitress worked hard but the kitchen was slow despite a light crowd. Nothing special about the experience.

   Our server was phenomenal. Everything was great. Thank you, we were from out of town and this was perfect. Tremendous Louisiana gumbo soup.

   Iron Hill is always a solid dining experience. We enjoy the menu options, quality of the food and service, and overall atmosphere.

    The noise level with the background thumping rhythm of some sort of music, and the closeness of the tables made it very hard to have a conversation. We did enjoy the food and service and will try the restaurant again perhaps on a night that isn’t as busy.
