                                                                                                    While I understand that restaurants can face unexpected challenges, proper reservation management is fundamental to the dining experience. Until Iron Hill addresses these issues, I would caution diners to allow substantial buffer time or consider other establishments that better respect their customers' time.                                                                                                     Fantastic service- the manager and staff were attentive and the food was delicious (focaccia, Brussels sprouts, crab cakes, and chicken sandwich). Will return!

                                                                                                    This was our first time back after 2+ years due to previous issues with poor service and subpar food. We decided to try again to see if things had changed. They have not. We wait several minutes to be seated, which I suppose can be overlooked. Once seated, our server was prompt. He took our drink order and we also ordered an appetizer. The appetizer arrived in 16 minutes, but our drinks from the bar still had not arrived. Pretty disappointing. The restaurant wasn’t even busy. Our server delivered our drinks and we placed our entree order. After that, we never saw our server again until the check was requested. No refill on water, no second beer or cocktail, not even to check to see how our meal was. Needless to say, we will never be back again. It is obvious that there are staffing and management issues which have still not been addressed.

                                                                                                    We had a reservation but were seated late. Booth was in bad location and seat was broken. Food was below average. Cosmopolitan was worst I have ever had.

                                                                                                    We arrived a little early and checked in at the front…we’re told that they would need a few minutes to clear a table. We sat and waited for 20 minutes and watched as four or five parties that arrived after us be seated. We had to remind the manager that we were still waiting… After being seated the rest of the meal was quite good and our waitress was very efficient.

                                                                                                    Way too much time for our drinks and food to be served. From our seat towards back of dining room we could see the kitchen service area and I saw a lot of food that was waiting to be served to tables just sitting there for long periods of time. There was no expediter in the kitchen making sure that food is delivered by servers as soon as it is ready as is goods common practice in the industry. As a result food can sit for long periods of time as with a pizza. that we had that was clearly not close to being just out of the oven as it tasted like it has sat around for a while.

                                                                                                    Very fast service and our food was tasty. I had a cheeseburger with a side salad. Others at our table had a reuben and soup with a Caesar salad with chicken. All items were visually appealing and enjoyed.
