The food was amazing but our server was absent minded, slow and left a great chasm of opportunity on the table. The folks that sat down next to us got up and left after 20 minutes of not being spoken to. If it was just my immediate family I can deal with it but when you are entertaining others it frankly a little embarrassing. Food was amazing though as always...

The menu is a little hard to understand when you first see it, but the staff are very helpful when ordering. I recommend you look at the pictures from the website and show the staff which dish you want, this work very well for us.

Our server was fantastic and explained the large, somewhat complicated menu to us. The food was very good.

Oh my, we don't know why we waited this long to try Istanbul. Everyone in my party was amazed, pleased, satisfied, and wowed by the favor and balance of every dish we ate. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS! The service was great and Chef Ahu even came to our table and talked to us. We will definitely be back! If you want to experience delicious foods like other you need to go to Istanbul!

Food was delicious! Lamb racks and the falafel my wife got was delicious! We started with the share platter and calamari. Platter was good but the calamari had too much breading for my taste. Drinks weren’t bad but not amazing either. Service was ok for the amount of people that was there.

We had again a great experience at Istanbul Hawaii last Saturday. The ribeye shish, zatar frites, and hatay kunefe for dessert never disappointed us. Victoria was our server and she was very friendly, attentive, and helpful. The food came out quickly and perfectly cooked. The ambiance is beautifully decorated and pleasant. Can’t recommend this place enough.

I always order the same thing because I can't stop thinking about it (and telling people about it). Iskender Doner over Mediterranean salad. That salad is so tasty, and I love that little sweet taste from the grapes. The shaved lamb/beef combo with that tomato compote goes so well with the salad!! I think about it often. So, decided to try something different...well actually...decided to add an appetizer and still order my favorite dish above. The Za'atar Frites - or just really amazing, incredibly tasting fries!!! WOW! highly recommend! My friends had the lentil soup...they love beans. It inspired both of them to make their own soup. Anyway...again, another wonderful, flavorful, enjoyable meal at Istanbul!! The staff is always so friendly, it makes the whole experience at Istanbul "on another level!"
