   The food was fantastic and the ambiance was even better. The most “speak easy” feel I have ever experienced. And don’t miss the bathrooms. Classic.

   Our server, Shannon, was quite surly. We had an issue when we first arrived and she never got over it. The food was outstanding and they seem to rest on those laurels. In my reservation I asked for a table where the four of us sit across from each other instead of a long booth where it makes it impossible for a group to hear each other. They obviously did not see the note or bother to respect the request.

   This is a place you want to keep all to yourself so you can always get a table but I must be fair and give them an Applause. I will go back to this place many times I want to try everything on their menu. Tonight's experience was 10 Stars service impeccable the food the best I've had Ambiance spot on it is a gem. I believe once the word is completely out it will be hard to get a table here. Michael the gentleman who took care of us for the evening knows how to treat his clients right he will be asked for every time I go. If you get a chance to try this gym you won't be disappointed

   Fabulous evening. Menu is awesome, atmosphere outstanding, service excellent...a very unique spot that we'll be back to time and time again.

   Second time in Italica. fun place and great atmosphere. The Bolognese was not as good as last time and the mushroom ravioli was too rich. Still better than most. We will be back.

   Delicious dinner in a fun and interesting space. Great addition in Indio! Chicken Milanese was fantastic as was the Ravioli! Mangiare e divertirsi!!

   Exceptionally Flavorful Italian Cuisine. Venue is small, classy, unique (think NYC Speakeasy) in heart of Indio's up and coming art district - and minutes from East Valley (P.D., LQ, Thermal, etc.) Exquisite menu, delightful service, quiet ambiance that's almost impossible to find. Book early, especially for pre-theatre @ Desert TheatreWorks performances, just around the corner!

   We were seated at a table for two next to a table where 2 diners faced my right side rather than their conversation being directed parallel to us. Very loud women making our conversation almost impossible. Took over 10 minutes for a server to come to our table although they nicely comped one of our two appetizers for that inconvenience. Meatballs were kind of dry inside just ok. Fried goat cheese appetizer good but mild for goat cheese. Prawns, entree, ok. Came with “risotto” which was rice, not aborio rice which is what Italian risotto is from. Whole Branzino very good. I filleted it myself (my choice) but had to ask for a dish for the spine, head and tail (waste pieces). Tried to order the ravioli entree but they were out of it. 7 pm reservation and no entree? Might give it a second chance to see if this was just a bad night at Italica. Impressive venue with fun decor.

    Food and drinks were good. Host questioned my husband’s attire ( he wore flip flops with otherwise nice attire.)and gave us a “warning.” At the end of the evening he offered “a tour” of what turned out to be the bathrooms - and immediately sat others at our table. Would have preferred they told us our time was up at the table to accommodate another reservation - we are adults and would prefer a more professional approach. It was disrespectful and disappointing.
