Italica is a unique, intimate hidden bar/restaurant with outstanding Italian cuisine. Our dishes are served tapas style and are meant to be combined and shared with others in your party. We have several dishes on and off our menu that are vegetarian and vegan friendly. Enter through the silver door on Miles Avenue to the right of Indio Taphouse.

Due to our limited capacity, reservations are required for dinner service. However, we welcome walk-ins at the bar, based on availability, and encourage late-night walk-ins to join us when possible.

To ensure that all our guests can savor our exquisite offerings, we allocate a 90-minute dining time for all parties.

Please note that Italica is an adults-only establishment. We kindly ask that our guests be above the age of 18 and are dressed appropriately.

Hard to find the location, but saw the mat outside the door with Italica on it finally. Loved the decor and pictures once inside. It was a little noisy, but not horrible. Service was a little slow and we sat after with we ate with our dirty plates for a while. The food was great. Both pasta meals were amazing. I got the sea bass and it wasn’t deboned very well. But had an amazing taste. Cocktails were unique and very good. I would go back when I had more time for the whole experience.

Food, drinks and ambience are all on point. Highly rated. The service at the table was okay, it was really busy. But our server was pleasant. We are definitely coming back. So happy that there is a cool chic restaurant in Indio. Look for the silver door.

Great experience, third time here and they have found their groove. The waitress was personable and shared local experiences. This hidden gem will not be hidden soon.

love the vibe at this speakeasy Italian gem - highly recommend the grilled bread with burrata, meatballs and puttanesca. all of that - in Indio!

The surrounding area was less than ideal, and we had to search for parking that felt secure. However, once inside, it was like stepping into a completely different world, far removed from the uninviting exterior we had encountered. Service was green however they were training new staff and their hearts were in the right place.

The blonde hostess at the front told us we were wrong and never booked a reservation, when I clearly showed her the reservation confirmation on our app for her to see for herself. I forgot to add- she somehow was still able to check us into our reservation even though she claimed she didn’t have one. The OpenTable app showed that we were checked in and we got points for “dining” there, even though they wouldn’t serve us food. Terrible hospitality. And obviously zero comments on the food, since we weren’t allowed to partake.

Our first experience dining here. We were very impressed with the service, food and ambiance. We will definitely return.
