Located on the third floor of B.B. King's Blues Club overlooking historic Beale Street you will find Itta Bena "A unique delta experience". Whether entering from our private Second Street entrance or walking through the secret hall from inside B.B. King's Blues Club, Itta Bena is sure to capture your senses. The experience is further heightened when you step inside and find yourself surrounded by rich wood floors, vaulted ceilings, deep golden hued chandeliers and the faint sound of the bustling street below.                     Don’t let the location above BB King’s blues bar fool you into thinking that this is anything other than a top notch gem of a restaurant right on Beale St. It feels elegant and comfortable at once. Lovely, romantic blue lit windows. Pleasant live piano music (maybe slightly prominent, but I enjoyed it). Intimate small dining rooms are available- I assume for an up charge. The larger of these rooms overlooks Blues City Cafe. The Cajun pasta was blissful. The jumbo shrimp were perfectly cooked and amazingly fresh tasting. My date had the lamb chops and left no meat on the bones. :-). Flight is one of my Memphis favorites, but Itta Bena is right there with it. Love it!

                    Awesome experience! Everything was wonderful and we really enjoyed the entire evening. Fun, food and laughter within a great atmosphere.

                    I’ve been too Itta Bena several times in the past. The food has taken a serious decline. A filet mignon is now Top Sirloin that’s been butterflied. I disagree. Mac and cheese, has now turned into penne pasta and cheese? Cajun Pasta now has Filet Mignon (Top Sirlon) , chicken breast and shrimp. Shrimp and Andouille sausage is what was usually included in your pasta. The food was terrible. Please, please fix.

                    Lovely service, excellent cuisine, and beautiful ambiance. Absolutely worth it and would recommend. We especially enjoyed the varied wine list. Best bread pudding I have ever had.

                    My husband’s birthday is on Christmas Eve and we enjoy going to Itta Bena to celebrate. The food, drink, and staff are always amazing. The ambiance is nice and the live music was an extra touch. Thank you for a wonderful experience and my husband enjoyed himself!
