Food was not good. My daughter had to send back her ravioli. Sauce was strange and not good. Lasagna was ok but soggy. Green goddess salad was drenched with dressing and very spicy or garlicy or something. Kind of difficult to eat. Bread was good. Prices weren’t terrible. A bit of a bummer for Christmas Eve dinner.

We had a great time with our family during Christmas week! They provided vegetarian options since they were able to make custom pasta orders. Highly recommend making a reservation as the waiting room can get really packed during peak season.

The appetizers and starters are amazing, also service and staff exceptional. The main dishes however were underwhelming, too much butter.

Izabella's is one of our "must visit" restaurants whenever we're in South Lake Tahoe. The food is consistently delicious, fresh and beautifully presented, and the service is always warm, welcoming and friendly.

Great dining experience. The service and food were excellent. Jonny was great, very attentive and helpful! Additionally our server and busser were great as well! Highly recommend Izabella’s!

Our server was very attentive. The food came out in a timely manner. The portion sizes were huge, and the value was on point. Definitely consider our returning at a later time.

Loved my lasagna dish so much that I finished every morsel even though I was stuffed. I just couldn't stop eating it. The house salad was also terrific. The four of us all enjoyed our meals and were all very happy with the service. We will definitely go again.

Had high hopes, based on reviews. Bruchetta was great, also their homemade bread. Caprese was great. Roasted chicken was fantastic. Pasta mains were not as good. Lasagna was dry, noodles mushy almost like it was frozen and then recooked. Had a slab of melted cheese on top. My risotto was OK but was cold when it came out. 1/2 the Scallops way overcooked, like rubber. Daughters linguine was swimming in bordelaise, 1/2 the clams were closed. Shrimp cappellini was good. It was busy, day after Thanksgiving. The staff is very nice.
