We thoroughly enjoyed all that there was to offer by the restaurant. I recommend the bison short ribs...great flavor and the meat melts in your mouth. Be sure to visit the meeting rooms which has great art work.

This was our third experience at J Paul's in less than a month - always outstanding! Five Star in all areas. Prefer the Filet Mignon but our dinner companions raved about the New York. Lobster cooked to perfection as well. Recommend a side of carrots and be sure to leave room for dessert! Kudos to James and Sylvan for helping to make the dinner experiences memorable.

We are occasional diners at J Paul’s, perhaps half-dozen visits since it opened. While good initially, with some hiccups here and there, they have progressively improved over time. This visit the food was in all respects excellently prepared, and the service was well executed. A call out to manager Pierre, a constant presence in the dining room visiting tables to ensure all was well. An enjoyable experience all ‘round - we’ll be back.

Absolutely loved this place. I was staying at the J Resort for a couple of nights and thought I would give it a shot as the menu on the website looked very good. I had the bison sliders as well as the dry aged rib eye. The streak was perfect. I also tried the smoked old fashioned and that that was great. Well done place the art on the wall is beautiful and worth checking out. Thanks for a great experience!

The service at J Paul’s is as good or better than anyplace in Reno. From the friendly bartender who greets us warmly and remembers what we ordered on the last visit, to the waiters who are also friendly, fun and engaging, to the manager who never fails to greet us and stop by the table a couple of times, they are all simply the best. The food is great also. Try the lobster bisque. It is off the chart!

Crab cakes are the best in town! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, pastas, fish and meats are all outstanding. Ribeye Oscar style was phenomenal and if they have the Ossobucco special definitely get it!
