Welcome to JAM ,
Enjoy a warm and relaxed dining experience indulging in the tastes of North Queensland . We like to explore our region's seasonal produce and create contemporary cuisine without compromising the purity of flavour.

The JAM menu offers quick bites for a catch up through to our full a la carte selection. We also have a great special luncheon menu which is always popular.

As the sun sets over the CBD and Castle Hill sit back and relax over dinner at one of the window tables or enjoy the views of the river and CBD lights on the terrace. For a romantic dinner we recommend requesting one of the private booths. Try the Shared Experience a delicious and generous selection, great for 2 or more.

Our wine list offers a generous selection of wines ranging from small Australian producers through to stunning international champagne and wines.

After reading all the wonderful reviews we booked a table. Unfortunately, the food was lack lustre. The menu looks so interesting and creative but in reality the plates were dull of flavour - the yellow fin tuna tasteless, the courgette flowers tiny, and the prawn linguine very oil and somewhat stodgy. The pitta bread was sadly the best thing we ate. The waiters and waitresses were lovely but the food was very slow to arrive - the whole restaurant appeared to be twiddling their thumbs waiting for their food. I am disappointed as the menu looked so delicious with lots of interesting flavours, but the execution fell flat.

Had an amazing dining experience last night! Great food, exceptional service, and a wonderful atmosphere. Enjoyed everything from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Everything we had from the3 course $80 menu was delicious and beautifully presented. I have a gluten intolerance so left it to the chefs to choose the entree for us, and we chose the lamb for main and chocolate truffles were the set dessert. Everything was amazing.

As usual a great experience at Jam, the Valentine's Day theme was nice. Service was impeccable with Sophia the standout.

Was a nice time and the food and service was really good. I just wish they let us know the water bottles were $9 each. It is normal to expect that still water is complimentary so this was a weird and unexpected surprise…

Food & Service is always amazing. My favourite restaurant in Townsville. Always appreciate that they always seat my guest & I at a fabulous table. It's nice that Matt comes out to say hello..very personal.

Food was average and took far too long to arrive, we were advised, due to a large group upstairs. The calamari was more batter than squid.
