I’m confused by the reviews that this food here is amazing. The salmon tostada was just a piece of salmon on top of a shell. Not broken up in any way, no other type of dressing (refried beans, cheese, etc.). Just a portion of salmon sitting on top of the shell. On top of that the salmon wasn’t hot! It was room temperature which added more disappointment to the dish. The positive side was the service was great and it was clear everyone there enjoyed helping out patrons. Too bad the food is slacking and whoever made the menu doesn’t seem to understand what a tostada is.

Very good Mexican food with a very lively crowd. We had a reservation and still had to wait because of the crowd. Worth the wait.

We had made a reservation. We were seated at a nice window table in the bar @ approx 4:45 (Sat, 12/28/24). There were 4 of us. We visit at least monthly. I had called before arriving, to inform receptionist we were running 10 mins late, due to holiday traffic. At first, my call went to voicemail-very unfortunate. I did call back, & was able to ultimately reach someone. Our server, Angel, was great, once we met him. For whatever reason, however, he was unable to greet us for at least 15 minutes. No one at the bar came to assist us. We had to ask the receptionist if someone could take our drink order. Still, mo one came. I went to the bar then, hoping to order, but no one was able to greet me or take my order there either. Your prices are high. We justify them bc of the atmosphere-we like it. High prices combined with extremely slow service is not a good combo tho. Seems you may have a staffing &/or mgmt. problem. We hope you’re working on it, as we’d like to continue to frequent your restaurant.

I had a reservation at 6:00. Despite the crowd, I was seated immediately. The food quality, professional service, cost, and ambiance were terrific. I had the fajita chimichanga and the Javelina margarita. The chimichanga was crispy and the crème friache was a nice compliment. Two thumbs way up.

We had a great time at Javelina Cantina. We had margarita flights, which were delicious, and their menu in general was creative! They had a vegan section of the menu, and several vegetarian options, which you don't usually find. The food was delicious!!

Our waiter was amazing and did not skip a beat serving 10 of us. It was a great place to eat and celebrate the holidays with our family.
