Always a great dinner at Javier’s. My favorite is the Arrechera. Ask for a side of corn tortillas. It won’t disappoint.

Everything was great once we got seated. But before that we had to wait about 30 minutes past our reservation time to get a table. The restaurant was very busy and the front area near the house stand was crowded with people waiting. Host and service staff kept asking my party to move since we were in the way of seating other parties and delivering food. There wasn't a comfortable (heated) waiting area where we could stay out of the way but be kept in the loop with our wait status. We had a couple kids in our party so waiting that much longer than expected was incredibly frustrating. We deserved ETA updates but got nothing unless I asked. I empathize with the host staff, but honestly if they were so over booked then they shouldn't have made the reservations available to begin with. We felt forgotten about and I had to keep checking in every 10 minutes to see where things were at. I never got an estimate for how much longer we'd have to wait until we were finally seated. Service was good, food was delicious, noise level was a little high but not intolerable.

Overall dinner was fine, the restaurant itself was a cool atmosphere, but everything else was ok.

Food was not great. Meat was sooo dry. Drinks came out very slow. And we had to ask for them again a couple times. Our app was forgotten until our entre was already out. Service was bad. But the ambience in there is very cool. I have been to the LA one and really enjoyed it so I would give it another try.

The interior is lovely and the vibe is good. However, our reservation was for 7pm and our table wasn't ready until 7:45. The food was good but not worth the money at all. The surf and turf was $90 and came with steamed white rice... Would definitely go back for drinks at the bar but dinner wasn't worth the wait or price.

Overall a very good experience. The good part 1. Ambience 2. Food 3. Service Needs improvement 1. Reservations and wait time The restaurant requires 2hr limit per table however since it is not enforced so the whole reservations gets messed up. We waited almost 30 mins for our table however once we had the table everything went smooth
