We don't take ourselves too seriously at Jax Fish House. Two things we do take seriously? The freshness and sustainability of our seafood. You know fresh fish when you see, smell, and taste it-and thanks to modern delivery technology, we bring in that freshy-fresh seven days a week. Sustainability is a little more complicated. Not all commercial fisheries are created equal. That's why we work closely with our suppliers and science-based organizations to ensure that every single thing we serve is responsibly sourced. We consider the stocks of the species we source to prevent overfishing and we work with suppliers who harvest in ways that have minimal impacts on marine environments.

    I loved dinner at Jax! The restaurant is very nice- modern and trendy. Our server was wonderful- friendly and showed up just the right amount. Not in your face, and not scarce. My scallops were pricey, but deeeeljcious!

    The service, drinks, and appetizers were all very good but the entrees were not as good. The kitchen tried to rush the meal which caused out entrees to be left warming until we were ready for them. The size of the entrees portions were disappointing small but reasonably well prepared and one of the sides was very salty. Overall the meal was good however I won't be back for awhile, there are better choices for a seafood dinner.

    We dined here on NYE. They had a set special menu and some other items (oysters/shellfish). We liked all the food we had (tuna appetizer, crab cocktail, lobster bisque, scallops, swordfish and dessert). Service was good!

    Our waiter was very helpful in sorting out the menu and guided us to some delicious items, like big-eye tuna, that we might otherwise have missed. Food was great, service was attentive.
