This was my 3rd visit to a Jeff Ruby's. The ambiance and service were excellent. The wine, appetizers and sides were great - it was the steak that was surprisingly disappointing. Two of us ordered the signature barrel cut filet, and the other the wet-aged ribeye. The ribeye was cooked to order, but appeared a little on the dry side. Both filets were undercooked - both were rare to extra rare and were ordered medium rare plus and medium plus. They had great flavor, but were also on the tough side and were barely warm when they arrived.

Always love our experience at Jeff Ruby's in Downtown Columbus. Having Anthony and Alysia take care of us made it even better.

Not like it matters but I was disappointed with dinner. Coming off dinner at another restaurant the night before we had high expectations. First, sat us in the bar area despite making reservations a month in advance. And then wouldn't/couldn't move us. Cesar salad tasted like it came out of a bag. No cracked pepper offer. Meatball was very salty but tender. Steak was top notch but a little cold. Crab on top was "crabby". No dessert was ordered. Overall for the cost and experience I regretted not making a reservation at their local competitors. I wouldn't recommend especially for the value to experience ratio. Hope this can help the team there.

Had an amazing dining experience at Jeff Ruby. The service, food, drinks and vibe were outstanding from start to finish. Definitely a place to visit if you’re in Ohio. Highly recommend getting the sushi. The fish is super fresh and full of flavor. Some other stand out dishes were the Pork Chop and Garlic Parm Fries. For dessert: Butter Pie & the Peach Sorbet were incredible. Shout out to Anthony and Nick for the great service. Will definitely be returning!
