Jeffrey's Restaurant & Bar has been an Austin fine dining institution since 1975. In 2012 the restaurant closed for a major renovation and was reopened by McGuire Moorman Lambert Hospitality. The legendary restaurant, nestled in the Clarksville neighborhood just west of downtown, features a lively bar and three distinct dining rooms. The menus, from executive chef Mark McCain, features dry-aged prime steaks, updated classic fine dining, and locally sourced produce. The award-winning wine list, one of the largest and most diverse in Texas, features highly-sought after vintages from Old and New World producers. Private dining in the Napoleon Room and The Apartment is available for special events. Valet service is offered.

The charming neighborhood location, old world service & multiple private dining options make Jeffrey's a true Austin gem. Jeffrey's was named “Top 10 Best New Restaurants” in the country by Bon Appetit magazine in 2013.

Il miglior ristorante di Austin. Ambiente elegante, servizio eccellente ed un cibo favoloso. Tappa imperdibile ogni volta che siamo in città.

We had a great Anniversary Dinner at Jeffrey’s. The service at the bar and with our server, Natalie, was outstanding and made for a great evening.

The steak was better in the past. I found the bone in ribeye to be over salted and tougher than I would expect for the price. Service was poor: it was a romantic birthday dinner for my girlfriend and the server never asked about the occasion and did not make the night special. Most irritating was that at the end of the night when we were deep in conversation, no fewer than five different servers interrupted us to ask if they could clear our plates when we were clearly still eating. It was obnoxious and killed the mood. It was never our actual server who did it, just random bus boys. It was so bad that I felt like making a sign saying “go away.”

Incredible atmosphere and wonderful service. Will absolutely be coming back! Best Caesar salad I’ve ever had! Try the baked Alaska for dessert!
