The JimmyRum Bar and Restaurant is open from Thursday to Sunday, serving our full range of rum & cane spirits, served neat or in freshly made and ever-changing premium rum cocktails. We also specialise in local beer, cider and wine.

Our amazing chef, Danny Wakley has created a fantastic share menu with inspired and unique dishes to share between friends or keep all to yourself. Pair these with some of the peninsula's best cocktails and you will have an experience you will keep coming back for.

Our cellar door is open seven days a week. Pop in for a tasting & spend some time learning about JimmyRum and experience first hand how rum is made.

Food was delicious, drinks were amazing and the guest singer was brilliant. Ex member of Captain Spaulding and was a great entertainer and genuinely nice guy who stopped by the table a few times to chat and reminisce about old times. Definitely going back.

Great place for drinks & light food. Love the acoustic singer, great vibe! The QR code makes everything so easy, especially for larger groups. Service and staff were amazing. There’s lots of different options for food- but alot of it’s fried.

Highly recommend Jimmy Rum for a relaxing and easy night out. Food is delicious with many tasty share plates. Lots of drink choices too. Definitely coming back with friends to enjoy this very cozy, funky, friendly (staff) local eatery.

The staff at Jimmy Rum were so accommodating. They assisted us with our birthday cake, and the live band even sung happy birthday! It was a welcoming, and comfortable environment. With a wonderful relaxing atmosphere. Food and drinks were delish! Highly recommend.

Unfortunately our experience was not good. As it was Father’s Day, it was an expectedly busy day, however it was very poorly managed. We waited for over 2 hours and only had entrees. The service staff were very good and sadly put in an awful situation, having to make amends for the shocking service from the kitchen. What we did eat was nice, but it didn’t make up for the severely disappointing experience, especially for my husband on Father’s Day! We ended up leaving because we couldn’t wait for 5 main courses from an already delayed kitchen. Note to management: make sure your business can handle it or don’t take the bookings!!!

Everything was PERFECTION from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out. Flawless service, delicious food, fabulous rum tasting paddle all enjoyed in glorious sunshine 🌞 The timtam cheesecake made with Barbados rum left me speechless. Absolutely the best dessert I've had in years!!! I'll be back for sure. Did I mention that it's a great dog-friendly venue too?
