Joe’s Crab Shack offers a variety of favorites from all parts of the sea and shore. From its extensive menu, guests can choose from buckets of seasonal seafood, fried shrimp platters and fish dishes, as well as options from the “mainland” that include steak, sandwiches, and chicken. Guests can indulge in over-sized and creative cocktails, such as the Shark Bite which is playfully garnished with a shark toy. Since its inception, Joe’s popularity has stemmed not only from its menu, but also its retail store. With various pieces of merchandise for purchase, including the ever-popular tie-dye T-shirt with the phrase “Peace, Love and Crabs,” Joe’s has become synonymous with the word “fun.”

Combo appetizer was good, the Boil was great! Service was chill…like either really tired or just a super chill dude. Thanks for being open for Christmas

My family had a really good experience going here on Christmas. The wait was not too long considering the holiday and our server was absolutely amazing. Even though the kitchen was backed up our server did a fantastic job checking up on us periodically. The food was well worth the wait. For our first time at Joe’s we were very pleased and will be returning.

had a christmas reservation for 6 people at 6pm. we arrive early and it was packed. we had to wait 30 min for our table (which was too small to accommodate our party but they had no other options). they said they had 600 reservations that day, seems like they should have capped it because it was very disorganized and over capacity and we had a long wait for food and drinks. food was okay, alcoholic drinks were extremely watered down. not a great experience overall.

Food was pretty good, but we had to wait a long time. The "reservation" we had meant literally nothing. We went on the walk in list like everyone else.

Rose our server was very attentive and made our afternoon more than pleasant. The snow crabs were perfect. Full of sweet meat. I’ll be back.

Great location on the beach and a very comfortable ambiance. Service was perfect and the food was tasty. The whole package is the attraction, and we will definitely be back, here or to another Joes.

We took our family out to dinner last night and the experience was definitely different than what it was the last time we were here 10 years ago. Our server seemed like she wasn’t really interested being there and rarely came to check on the table besides bringing us dinner. The food was bland all away around and there wasn’t hardly anyone else in there. We won’t be coming back again $160 and having this type of experience on the weekend before Christmas wasn’t good.

First time visiting in a couple years. Went with our Friday night dinner group. Wanted a restaurant close to Jacksonville Beach's holiday Deck the Chair display. Free parking a plus. Food was very good. We plan to add this to our list of restaurants we visit on Friday nights. Restaurant was a great choice.
