    A boxing day get together! it was all of our first time. Convenient to walk to. we were running about five minutes behind our reservation, thankfully Joey called and we could let them know that we were walking and that we were just running slightly behind. We were still accommodated and were grateful . greeted with sparkling wine, that was nice! we had some happy hour cocktails they were quite good and some snacks….it took a while to get some water which I had asked for and I think one of my friends had to wait a bit for his drink at one point I’m not sure if they had forgotten. I also assumed that we’d get napkins , but I had to ask for it ! We know that they have just opened and so they are still working out the flow of everything… my friends and I are not fussy and we will definitely return to try other things on the menu and enjoy the ambiance ! a little room for improvement on the above but expected when brand new!

    Yesterday, we were served by Naomi, a very attentive waitress. Everything was served very quickly. The food was slightly different from the last time - we ordered the steak with sushi again, and my husband had the blackened chicken, followed by desserts. The chocolate cake was salty, which is probably a Canadian twist, but it felt unusual for us. There was also a girl playing the violin alongside a DJ during our dinner, which made the evening very romantic.

    Overall a good experience. Great space for this new location. I just wish the menu had more variety from other locations. Same same. However the quality of food was very good. Server Erik was excellent.

    Beautiful decor and very attentive service. Pasta Pomodoro and fish tacos were superb, skip the ricotta dip.

    From the moment we walked in the service was excellent. Chelsea was our server and was a delight. Her knowledge of the menu was very helpful. I had the steak and sushi, delicious! My husband's prawns, however, were cold with no hint of garlic or lemon, and Chelsea had them comped. Tuesday half price wines were a pleasant surprise! We will definitely be back!

    Overall we had a great experience at Joeys, from being greeted upon entry, being seated early for our reservation, to our server who was knowledgeable, kind, and courteous, to the food being delicious!
