   We had an outstanding experience. The food was amazing, and what made it more special was the service. Hands down the best in Saint Louis area!!

   Celebrated birthday dinner last week. What a fantastic find. Old school Italian restaurant that has been there over 50 years. Started in the bar for happy hour and enjoyed a glass of wine and listened to the live music. For dinner we sat at a quiet corner table in the dimly lit dining room. Dinner was heated at the table and served table side. The sea bass was delicious. Mare Monte seafood pasta as a side dish . Hubby had the pork chop special and said it was delicious. Homemade cannoli for dessert was best I ever head. Heading beck later this week for lunch

   Nice menu choices, excellent service, adequate wine choices, tasty food & refreshingly quiet ambiance. We had a delicious & enjoyable meal & will definitely return.

   We had a reservation at 7:45. The host said our table was being cleaned off so we went to the bar for a drink. After two drinks we left at 8:15 because the host never came to tell us our table was ready…..

   Ate dinner at this restaurant for Valentine’s Day and was very disappointed. They had a special menu for Valentine’s Day, but did not describe any of the dishes at all or tell you what they were or what was in them. All of their wines were by the glass or by the bottle, but they did not provide us any Information on the wines. We asked for a sample of one particular wine because the waiter did not know if it was oaked or unoaked. My food was not even edible and I got the chicken fettuccine. The fettuccine sauce was basically water and the noodles did not soak up any of the fettuccine sauce. Let’s just say we will not be back. Many of the other couples that sat around us had the same issues and we were very unpleased. The couple that sat next to us wanted to pay in cash, but the waiter said that they cannot accept the cash because they didn’t have any change to give them so they were forced to pay on their credit card.
