    Had a delicious lunch today at JoLo. The haddock and the meatloaf were superb, as always. Their wines are our favorites and they have been since the first time we visited there, which was 3 years ago. Thank you, Cat, for taking such good care of us! We’ll be back as soon as possible.

    Amazing birthday lunch. Beautiful setting. Outstanding service by Catie. We shared scallops with risotto, butternut squash ravioli (parmesan sauce is to DIE for!), and sirloin tips. Melt in your mouth goodness. Each dish perfectly executed. JOLO Cuvee wine and sangria simply the best. Limoncello cake for desert was so light and fresh. Just a wonderful way to celebrate my birthday with our best friends. Thank you JW and staff!!!

    We were celebrating a birthday and had a fabulous dinner. The food and wine were excellent. The salads were fresh and chilled, the entrees were hot and cooked to perfection. Of course being a winery the wines were highlighted. We had three different ones at the table and they were all wonderful. The only surprize was that the bottles to go were the same price as what what served in the restaurant. Our experience is that wine bought to take home was less. All in all wonderful and we would come back.

    Coleman was a wonderful wine room attendant. She gave an excellent description of each of our wines for our tasting. Cat was very attentive and a great server in the restaurant. She was kind and patient with our menu choices. We were in a tight timeline to leave, and she made sure we were out in time. I only wish JOLO was closer to my home in southwest Charlotte so that I could visit the winery and restaurant more often. Thank you!

    We chose JoLo for our anniversary dinner (with friends). We were seated and placed an order for two bottles of wine and an appetizer. For dinner we ordered filet, salmon scampi, pork chop. The filet was served in a salad bowl! Also the steak was ordered medium rare and arrived medium well. All dishes were served with puréed pommes (actually lumpy mashed potatoes). Salmon scampi wasn’t what I expected but was ok. Pork chop was ok but nothing special. Our table was the only table in the room not to have our wine decanted. The waitress did say she was surprised to see the steak served in a salad bowl-and did give us a discount on the bill for that and the steak being overdone. Bottom line is all four of us were disappointed at our first dinner here. We might would go back during the day to enjoy the winery but doubtful we would go back for dinner. Granted-we are food snobs but for this price point - everything should Have been better.
