    My family and I were really excited to try! They were really strict about the whole party of 4 being present before sitting 3 of us although it was nearly empty. Once we were ready to order, we learned that they were out of lamb chops, only had one order of oxtails left, no kool-aid, and only a few sides. We ordered the deviled eggs and soul rolls for starters. The deviled eggs had no flavor but the soul rolls were very good! We didn’t wait too long for both our starters and entrees which was nice. Overall, the food was good - 3/5. We were excited to try some dessert and learned they only had two. Our waitress seemed to understand our irritation with none of the meals we wanted to try not being available. Unfortunately, we have no reason to go back but glad we tried it.

    The food is very good, especially the soul rolls and pot roast empanadas. The decor and ambience are okay. The service was good. It’s BYOB now until the liquor license is finalized.

    It was OK. They ran out of silverware. Gave us cheap plastic forks. The utensils they provided were not matching and I found it annoying that there were not enough forks. I also wish the music wasn’t so loud. We come to talk while dining with friends and family. If the music is too loud, it’s difficult to engage, especially for older patrons. Music is great; however play instrumental music so voices are not competing with lyrics. Please purchase enough utensils and have them match?

    Service was good this time. They need consistency. Never know what you’re going to get. Food was very good. Cornbread needs work and the short ribs were less than lukewarm warm. Probably sitting waiting on fried chicken as that was piping hot.

    Great customer service the food was so delicious .. it was a BYOB. The Decor was nice small cozy atmosphere.

    Everything was wonderful the seating options the food was so good and I cook the oxtails fell off the bone and the gravy for the rice was delicious the collard greens were delicious and my friend had mac n cheese I had a fork full of that as well. This was my second time visiting because the first time left more to be desired. I invited some friends and we all enjoyed our delicious meal the servers were also very very nice and attentive

    The surf and turf deal is great value. Service and music were good too. Wish I would've remembered to take a bottle!
