The 24th Annual Alexandria Holiday Boat Parade of Lights will take place on December 7, 2024. Purchase a VIP waterfront balcony table to enjoy a front-row seat to the parade and a 3-hour table time. The parade begins at 5:30 pm, but seating begins at 4:30 so you will have plenty of time to get your first round of drinks and apps on the table before the parade begins! In addition to our dinner menu, we're featuring our annual pre-order holiday charcuterie board and tableside s'mores. Please note, we cannot guarantee Alexandria will put on the boat parade. In the event of rain or severe weather, we reserve the right to cancel. If we cancel, you will be provided a gift card in the amount of your non-refundable table purchase.

We're kicking off Alexandria's biggest holiday weekend with our annual Boat Parade of Lights party! Ticket price includes a Welcome Beverage (apple cider mimosa), DJ Lanie B spinning Christmas Hits, Open Access to the Terrace, Reserved Indoor Table from 4:30-7:30 pm, and a Prize for the Best Christmas Sweater. The parade begins at 5:30 pm, but seating begins at 4:30 so you will have plenty of time to get your first round of drinks and apps on the table! Tables are assigned at time of purchase. This is a non-refundable, 21 and over, rain or shine ticketed event. We cannot guarantee the City of Alexandria will put on the boat parade. In the event of rain or cold weather, we reserve the right to close the outdoor space and move the DJ inside.

The view and location are lovely. They have a big menu. This is our first time at the restaurant and next time I would pick something different at brunch. I had the lobster omelet. It had a lot of lobster, but was pretty tasteless. The fries were better than the omelet. My friend had coffee and the cup was dirty. That was not good. We liked desserts better than the entrees. Big selection of desserts -- we had key lime pie and pot de chocolat. Both were yummy.

We decided to celebrate our 5th Wedding Anniversary at Jula’s On The Potomac and our experience was FANTASTIC… From the moment we entered the establishment it was nothing but excellent service… Our food was hot and delicious..Our waiter Khai was attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu… It was a wonderful experience… Thank you Jula’s On The Potomac for making our 5th Wedding Anniversary a memory we will cherish forever…

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the brunch. There is not one negative thing to say about this place. Every single food item was delicious and the mimosas were good too. Our server Khai Q. was outstanding, very personable and he encouraged us to come again, which we will. We planned to go to NYC next month for my daughter’s 30th bday and she asked that we come back to DC so we come here for a bday brunch. Try this place and you will not be disappointed.

Although the food at Jula's on the Potomac is good (not great, but as good as most restaurants), the service is generally poor. Our waiter at dinner was abrupt and inattentive. Our waiter at brunch had a pleasant personality and manner, but he was stretched too thin and paid very little attention to us. He refilled our ice teas only after two requests and a lengthy delay. He brought us the check only after another delay and another request.

My husband took me here for my birthday. Everyone was very attentive and pleasant and they made us feel welcomed. The food is delicious. The short ribs melt in your mouth. This restaurant is a gem in Alexandria. Highly recommend.

We had lunch with friends and the ambiance of Jula's is very conducive to socializing. The tables are well spaced. It is very comfortable and beautifully furnished and the view of the Potomac River is lovely. The food and drinks were excellent. Great menu with lots of choices.
