Here at Julian's restaurant, we’ve incorporated our love for food and travel into a locavore seafood concept we call “Sun Coastal Cuisine”. The goal is to showcase the incredible bounty available due to our proximity to the Gulf and couple it with our team’s passion for preparing great food.

                                        We’ve been coming to Julian restaurant since 2020 and the food and experience has always been great. Unfortunately the past few times we noticed a serious fruit fly/gnat problem. So many gnats and fruit flies that landed on our food and we couldn’t finish our meals. There’s a gnat issue regardless of where we sit, so it’s not just by the windows. We won’t be dining here again which stinks because we loved having a great restaurant to eat at while staying at current, but the fruit fly/gnat situation is unacceptable since we can’t even finish our meals.

                                        There was lovely music playing live. We had a great waiter who was very friendly and attentive. The food was good, however a little pricey. We enjoyed our dinner and wine. Overall, a pleasant experience.

                                        The best breakfast was the best ever had. Patrick our server was excellent, kind and professional. He is an asset to the Julian Restaurant!

                                        We had no idea that this restaurant existed . It is tucked away with a beautiful water view on the back side of the hotel . The restaurant overlooks a beautiful serene pool area as well . The waiter suggested the Sea Bass and it was probably one of the best that I have ever eaten. We both had a side salad. Our waiter was very responsive and friendly. We will definitely be back .

                                        Must must try the Miso Sea Bass. It’s awesome. I’ve come back multiple times just for this because I think it’s so good

                                        The Julian offers a pretty good array of breakfast options for guests staying at the hotel. I would say however that considering this is an Autograph Collection hotel within the Marriott family, I would have expected fresher food items vs pre-cooked. For instance the hash brown potatoes were simply premade and heated vs freshly sliced and cooked potatoes. The same for the sausage. It was good, but could have been better. The service was great overall especially considering this was over a holiday weekend and a bit busier than usual. The views overall are great as well since they view out to the bay. The restaurant size is small, so don't forget to make a reservation even if you are staying at the hotel.

                                        We live across the highway about 3 miles away in Dana Shores. We come to the hotel and other close by restaurants often. We never dined at Julian’s and I will never recommend it. It was truly the worst!
