We were going to a Cal Performance after dinner. Great location to Zellerbach Hall and parking. Enjoyed our wines and the Little Castle drink and Manhatten. Food very good. Attentive service. Will visit again.

The noise level made it difficult to have a conversation. And the policy of adding $10 each dish that was shared should have been made clear on the menu. Big surprise. the food was delicious but we ordered 1 salad 1 main dish and 1 glass of wine and the bill was over $100. Too expensive.

We really enjoyed our dinner in the beautiful restaurant in the Julia Morgan Berkeley City Club. The food was very good (with very large portions ) and the service was excellent. We will return.

Excellent food and drink, gracious wait staff, no rushing, and beautiful atmosphere. This restaurant is one of a kind in a very special building. Dining there is a first rate experience all around.

A lovely restaurant to sit and enjoy good conversation and very excellent food. Friendly helpful service was a plus. The restaurant is quiet compared to most others and this made the whole experience more enjoyable It’s a hidden gem.

A quiet and lovely setting for lunch in an elegant building designed by architect Julia Morgan (hence the name). Attentive service, good food, and quiet enough to have nice conversations without straining to hear. This is a gem!

Our party of 5 women of a certain age were thrilled by the lovely Tuesday Tea lunch - what a treat! While there are other menu selections, we decided to we would indulge in the classic English tea. The wide array of finger food sandwiches, scones, croissants and desserts was a feast both for the eye and appetite. The service was charming. The star of the experience is the venue itself - the beautiful Berkeley City Club designed by Julia Morgan is worthy of a visit in and of itself. We will be back!

From start to finish the service was great. Allotted plenty of time to peruse the menu. Answered questions and made good recommendations on pairing of appetizers with entrees. Perfectly timed the food service in accordance with our dining pace. A very comfortable atmosphere. The high ceilings and architecture facilitate the dampening of noise within the restaurant. Will return for sure.
