Chef AZEUCHI trained in the art of Kaiseki Course cuisine in Japan for 16 years. Upon graduating
culinary school, he began studying Kaiseki Course at a hotel. When he turned 27, he became sous-
chef at Hotel Nogamiya.
While there, he participated in a Tokushima Culinary Contest, where he won first prize. When he
was 35 years old, he joined Tofu Kaiseki Restaurant as their head chef.
During this time, he also studied French cuisine for 3 years, training under a Head Chef who had on-
the-job experience working in a prestigious French fine dining restaurant.
Chef Azeuchi quickly became the sous chef in the restaurant. When Japanese Crown Prince
Naruhito - now known as
"His Imperial Majesty the Emperor"- made a royal visit to Kagawa Prefecture, Chef Azeuchi
entertained him with his beautiful dishes.

    Having eaten at the best Japanese restaurants in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Tokyo, and Kyoto, I can say without reservation that Kaiseki Yuzu holds its own against any of them. Every dish was meticulously crafted, beautifully presented, and most of all absolutely delicious. The service was attentive without being intrusive. If you are looking for a truly special dining experience in Las Vegas forget the overhyped and overblown “celebrity chef” places—at Kaiseki Yuzu you will be served one of the best meals of your life. Worth every penny.

    Excellent experience for sushi lovers. Such attentive staff, absolutely fresh ingredients skillfully prepared before your eyes. Chefs would interact when initiated. Small group allows for a unique experience.

    I don't really consider fish cake a high quality food and it was in two of the dishes the night we ate there. Also, the best dishes were sushi and sashimi and the composed dishes were just okay.

    Wow! What a surprise. Location is off the beaten path, has no curb appeal, and aesthetically is not that pretty. But boy is the food worth every minute and every dollar. The service was impeccable and the server extremely knowledgeable about not just the food, but also the sake wish I lived in Las Vegas so I could be here more often.

    It is the same level of delicious as the kaiseki I got in Japan if not better. We ordered the $300 menu and every ingredients are top notch. I really love how the chef put his thought into combining some French technique into the dishes, for example, instead of dipping tempura into soup, chef creates a dipping soup foam so you can taste the soup without making the tempura soggy. Very brilliant idea. The tempura is the best I have ever tasted. I will visit kaiseki every time when I come to Vegas.

    The best authentic Kaiseki dining experience in Las Vegas. I’ve traveled and lived in Japan over 30 years. Chef and his team are the real deal. If you are interested in this kind of dining experience, Yuzu is the place to go in Las Vegas.
