   Beautiful restaurant and very clean. Hostess was friendly and communicated when we would be seated so there was clear communication. The server was friendly and offered to answer any questions we may possibly had. We ordered the combo and two of the three meats were tough and a bit dry. One person brought out the meats and we didn't realize the server was supposed to cook it for us so maybe next time, that should be addressed ahead of time. He was quick to stop us before the meats began cooking. In addition, there were not enough water cups immediately available upon seating. The cups came roughly 15 minutes after we were seated. The shaken kimchi was fun but I wish there was an option to make it spicier. I ordered the pear juice and that was really good. Also, it was a nice touch that the restaurant added a special gift of a rose and champagne for mothers day. I want to also emphasize our server was really great and friendly and I don't want the critique about the dryness of the two meats to reflect his cooking. We would consider returning, because of convenience of location but otherwise, I would rather have korean bbq elsewhere where you get more bang for your buck.

   Kate was amazing! Usually these large holidays, coverage and service can me mixed and we went into that w expectations as always. Kate blew us away with her service, attention, and smile! Best of luck to her! She was great

   Reserved for table at 7.15pm but was waited to be seated for 30mn, then they only left me an option to seat at the bar. Otherwise I would keep waiting until the table is ready. What’s the point of using my credit card to reserve the table when I was treated like walk in customer.

   Second time here. The server was nice, but the restaurant was very understaffed. It took some time to get service because one person had to manage many tables alone.

   Came here today to catch up with my dear friend whom I haven’t seen for a long time. We are glad to be here. Delicious food! Wonderful service! Nathan our server is very attentive. He checks on us if we need anything, gives recommendations which meat would go well with the different sauces served, switches new grill between different meats. We opted for the Combo K which is good for two people. We were stuffed. Another great thing is that when you come out of the restaurant, no one would know you came from a Korean barbeque place because the smell do not linger on your clothes or hair unlike other Korean barbeque places. Lastly, Great ambiance! A nice place to celebrate any occasion. We left not only with our tummies full but our hearts as well. Love this place. Would definitely come back!

   I get it’s Irvine. So it’ll be expensive. The quality of the meat wasn’t amazing but okay. The portion of meat requires improvement. Moreover the “sides” that come with the meat were subpar at best. Small portions; lacking flavor. The venue is small, not too loud, the staff cook the meat for you. However, the menu breaks down to (4) types of meat. Period. So for 102.99 per person and additionally rice (good portion) at 3$ a person with tax&tip you’re looking at 150$ total. Servers and management were kind, helpful, attentive. Would not go back. Or recommend.

   Our server was fantastic. Was very helpful for our first visit. Food was exceptional and approachable. My husband and his kids aren't familiar with Korean food and were nervous about my choice for dinner. The family meal C was more than enough food. We ordered 2 for 8 of us and we were all tapping out by the last round of ribs. We were celebrating 2 of our kids' bdays and our server brought out a bday dessert for them. Banchan is refillable but we didn't take advantage of that since we were so full. Japchae was super yummy, so was the steamed egg. The tableside kimchi was so fresh and crunchy. I had to take so home.

   We’ve been to many Korean BBQ places and Kalbi Social Club is definitely one of our favorite! It reminded us of a BBQ restaurant in Myeongdong, Seoul. It was wonderful having the beef cooked to perfection by our server, so we can focus on eating 😀. We ordered a package meal for two people and added Bulgogi Chapchae as an extra entree, which was delicious & colorful. The steamed egg was so fluffy, almost soufflé like, loved the bean soup. We were served three different types of beef and by far our favorite was 48-hour marinated kalbi. Not only was it cooked perfectly without burning but it was very tender, flavorful, almost melting in our mouth. It’s a bit pricey for everyday dining but definitely a treat on a special day. We will definitely want to comes back..

    Our server JULIE was amazing YET AGAIN. We LOVE Julie. Best service ever in all my years of life. We’re coming back JUST for Julie!!! She deserves all the flowers ❤️❤️
