Located in the heart of historic Fairfax City, Kelly's Oyster House & Bar offers fresh, vibrant sea fare from the Atlantic Ocean and Chesapeake Bay. Situated just across the street from the City of Fairfax's courthouse and two blocks from the town square, Kelly's is the perfect restaurant for all occasions. Whether you're grabbing a drink with friends or celebrating a birthday, wedding, or anniversary, we at Kelly's are excited to see you!

Kelly's boasts two cozy front dining rooms, as well as a large "Maine" bar and an oyster bar. On warmer days, our covered front patio is open to walk-ins. Furry friends are invited to join us in our outdoor space, but we ask that they stay leashed and with their owners at all times.

Kelly's is owned and operated by Bill Hamrock and was established in the spring of 2024, and is a sister restaurant to Hamrock's Restaurant in Fairfax City.

It was our second time going there and a lovely time. I had the Swordfish twice and both times it was amazing. The selection of Oysters are amazing too. !

We have been twice this week, so I am putting the two visits together. Probably won't keep that pace but enjoyed it the first time and still had other things in the menu that we wanted to try. If you are a traditionalist, get the lobster roll if it is a special. It is a real New England lobster roll no odd adds. The pumpkin bisque was amazing and could have been a meal in itself with an order of hush puppies as an appetizer. The chickens, both Kelly's favorite and pecan crusted were both great and the white wine steamed muscles were a winner. We ended both meals with the bread pudding also worth having. We will be going back.

Nice place! We had a good meal with 9 people. The waiter, Michael, was highly attentive and made it all happen for us.

What a great find! The food was awesome. We had the Hush Puppies they were huge and delicious. Oyster Rockefeller and fresh Oysters. Both were fantastic and fresh. We also had the stuffed Avocado with shrimp and crab. Plenty enough to split. The shrimp was a large size too. The fave of the meal for sure. We can’t wait to go back.

Enjoyed dinner at Kelly's Oyster House and Bar December 27, 2024. Kelly's was started by the owners of Hamrock's Restaurant in Fairfax, which we like; naturally we tried Kelly's and have dined there twice. The food and service was excellent and we will be back.

Kelly’s Restaurant was very festive. We appreciated the holiday lights and decor. Our waiter was professional and friendly. All 8 guests in our party enjoyed their meal. Excellent service! The appetizers (lobster bisque, bruschetta) and entrees (lobster roll, burgers) were very good. S’mores pie is amazing! The lobster roll was delicious! Would love to see them offer grilled corn on the cob like Coastal Flats.

Great lunch with very good service. The Kelly's chicken main course was delicious. They have a nice cozy room in the front as well as a bar in the back.
