The Kenji Omakase Experience is a multi-course menu created by the chef Matthew Nguyen, served at the sushi bar. There's limited seating Wednesday-Sunday with seatings at 5:45 and 8:30. All other guests are seated in the dining room with choice of table-side omakase or a la carte menu

A traditional Japanese experience which guests leave themselves in the hands of chef and receive a meal which is seasonal, elegant, artistic and uses the finest ingredients. The chefs will take you on a tour around the world with ingredients from the Toyosu market while also highlighting the dry aging program used only at Kenji

• We kindly decline requests to accommodate any dietary restrictions
• A 3.95% credit card fee will be added to all non-cash payments
• Service fee is added to parties of 6 or more
• Cancellations will only be accepted up to 24 hours prior to your reservation
• Any cancellations within 24 hours of the reservation will be charged $75 per person

Kenji Kenji in New Orleans is a total standout. The chef’s tasting is basically a masterclass in “how to blow your mind.” Every dish showcasing fresh, bold flavors that leave you wanting more. The sashimi melts in your mouth, and each bite feels like a work of art. Sit back, trust the chef, and enjoy a dining experience that’s nothing short of unforgettable. Dining at Kenji was an unforgettable experience! Chef Matt's dishes were absolute perfection—fresh, buttery, and melts in your mouth. The flavors and presentation were impeccable. My favorite appetizer is the Hamachi crudo! The staff was warm, attentive, and their recommendations made our meal even better. If you love sushi or appreciate outstanding dining, this is the place to go. We can’t wait to return for another incredible experience! 🍣✨

It was very good, don't get me wrong. But I do not feel the experience was worth the price. We ordered some extra stuff on top of the Omokase, and I still left a little hungry. The fish was fresh and delicious, but I didn't feel like the sushis in the Omokase were exceptionally different from any other higher-end sushi place. I go the hand roll with foie gras and the foie gras portion was barely even noticeable. It was a piece about the size of a fingernail. If the (total) bill would have been around $200 total, I probably would have been OK, but it was almost double that and we only had two drinks! We had a wonderful evening, but not sure we'd go back based on price.

We did the omakase for 7 people for a special occasion. Definitely the best meal I have ever had and our whole party was blown away by the quality and artistry. The chefs were so fun and explained things so well. The waitstaff were also very knowledgeable about the drinks and food and went out of their way for us. The restaurant’s ambience is excellent and it’s connected to the international house hotel which is gorgeous (go see the Banksys in the lobby!) Having done 2 other 10+ course fine dining experiences I definitely think this was worth the price. Add-ons you can choose include sake pairing ($70 for 4 large pours) as well as various food things like caviar service. The members of our party who did the sake pairing felt it was absolutely worth the cost as well. There was also a special dessert surprise at the end which we didn’t expect! We are all absolutely dying to do this again, hopefully someday soon!

What a wonderful meal! We were able to enjoy the omakase - which was absolutely delicious. And the matcha pistachio beignets were a magical way to end the meal! Definitely coming back for a visit soon!

Kenji was everything my wife and I expected and more. Chef Matt put together an incredible Omakase menu and experience. I highly recommend!

Every menu item was 10/10. Do not typically like omakase but this was high quality and good value
