Kenzo Napa, presented by proprietors Kenzo and Natsuko Tsujimoto, is an exceptional, authentic Japanese restaurant featuring a traditional prix fixe kaiseki menu designed by Chef Kenji Miyaishi, located in downtown Napa.

OpenTable allows reservations only 30 days in advance. For long-range planning: reservations@kenzonapa.com. Note that less than 24 hours' notice for cancellation will result in a $200 cancellation fee.

The fusion of Japanese tradition with innovative techniques and presentation is sure to transform all perceptions of Japanese cuisine. Edomae sushi and kaiseki delicacies are created with seafood selections flown in from acclaimed markets in Japan. Every dish is expertly paired with the Kenzo Estate wine collection as an option, along with a selection of fine wines, Japanese sakes and beer in a peaceful environment where the focus is on chef preparation and cuisine.

Kenzo is the proud recipient of 7 consecutive Michelin Star awards, noted for sake and wine lists.

I wanted so badly to love this place. I took my sister here for her first Michelin Star experience. It was entirely disappointing. The flavors were underwhelming, the plating wasn’t appealing and not what I would expect from a multi-star awarded restaurant that charges $200 per person. Seriously, not one bite that was placed in front of us would knock your socks off, so I honestly don’t get it. Would I come back? Obviously not. Is it worth the experience? No. There are so many other omakase sushi restaurants that put this place to shame. Don’t waste your time or money. I will say the staff and service were great and we appreciated that.

This is our favorite Japanese restaurant outside of Japan. It never disappoints and is such a special Place that remains true to traditional Japanese kaiseki style.

Kenzo was amazing! We are in the Napa/Sonoma area for 12 days and I already feel Kenzo will be our best dining experience of the whole trip. From walking through the door to exiting after, everything and everyone at Kenzo was amazing!! We will definitely be back!!

Spare dining room—in a good way. Quiet atmosphere and very attentive service. As expected, the food was immaculately produced and presented. Wine pairing was interesting. I recommend Kenzo Napa after visiting Kenzo estate. Beautiful property.

My husband and I are huge foodies! This was a great experience. Such nice staff and every bite was delicious.

Kenzo is an amazing experience. A quiet intimate setting really sets the tone and helps you to fully experience the meal. The staff are amazing and attentive and the way they work together with the chefs to make your meal fit your pace is amazing. Now on to the important, the food, the food is amazing and displayed Japanese cuisine beautifully. The stand outs from my meal were the Sushi course, Alaskan Black Cod, Wagyu Tenderloin, and the Mie Samara Mackerel Sashimi. I would definitely return perhaps when the menu changed again for a new experience.
