Kinaara is Chef Ashish Sathyan's scratch Indian restaurant. We specialize in dishes from Kerala but feature from all over the diverse sub-continent. Try our famous Butter Chicken but also add on a dish you probably have never heard of, all of it will be amazing. You will find items that are not on any other menu, such as Grandma's Fish and Mango Curry and beef specials. We are a small casual restaurant that let's the food be the star.

First timers. Excellent food and service. We were unfamiliar with most menu items so much appreciated the recommendations and description of the entrees. Great choices! Delicious! We look forward to returning and trying other menu items.

Our waiter Paris, was amazing. The food was delicious. The chef even took the time to step out of the kitchen briefly to ask how everything was.

The food at Kinaara was fantastic, as always! We started with the flavorful chili chicken appetizer, and I had the amazing fall Thali, which featured a variety of delicious dishes. My son enjoyed his favorite butter chicken, paired with soft rosemary garlic naan. We had plenty of food, leaving us with lots of leftovers! However, the service was slower than usual for a Wednesday evening. Our 6:45 PM reservation put us in a packed restaurant, and many diners were still waiting for their meals. Our waiter, who was also the manager, was working hard to assist everyone. Thankfully, our water glasses were always filled by another attentive staff member. Despite the busyness, the team hustled to ensure a positive dining experience!

The chicken Korma was so delicious as well as the Saag Paneer. The flavors were very satisfying. Our server was very friendly and helpful. The wine selection was quite limited but what I had was an excellent red. As a bonus we were treated to the little dessert “ dumplings” in a fragrant sweet syrup. Quite a nice postlude to a spicy meal.
