   The bar was warm and inviting. The Service was excellent, efficient, attentive & personable. We sat in the middle booth and the ambience was romantic and intimate. The Seafood was exceptional. Oysters were amazing. The best we’ve ever had. The prepared lobster delicious as were the crab claws. A must try for any seafood loving visitors to Howth.

   Prawns in the prawn cocktail were rubbery, the seafood chowder had little or no fish in it and the so called "Famous Meringue since 1971" was something bought in from the local shop, with no fruit. Overall appalling, and when I brought to the staffs attention, response was "sorry about that" was still charged full amount. NO I WONT be going back, and a pity as I have had good meals there in the past.

   Amazing experience! The food was delicious! The oysters and the lobster was the best I’ve ever had. We sat outside in a “warm” sunny day and it was just the perfect setting for this beautiful Irish coast town.

   Great very hard working staff . Very accommodating staff also . Tasty food . Crab claws in a delicious garlic add lemon juice -provided sauce .

   Wonderful seafood, whole lobster cooked in Thermidor and served on one half. White crab meat mornay and smoked fish in cream. If I had to nit pick, there was a bit too much sauce on the house fries and the meringue was too sweet for my taste but still five star.

   Delicious mussels and wine in a wonderful laidback atmosphere. Very friendly staff.
