Established in 2020, King’s Fish House is San Jose’s choice for seafood. Located at the Westfield Valley Fair, King’s Fish House features a large selection of fresh oysters, seasonal catches, sushi and live shellfish, including lobster and crab, on a menu that changes daily.

We’ve been in restaurants a little while – three generations, to be precise. A long time ago, we embarked on a road trip in search of the ultimate seafood experience. We traveled down highways and byways, pulled up a seat, put on bibs and soaked up the seafood experience: the no-name dishes with unforgettable flavor, the fresh-caught oysters and clams piled high, the hand-lettered specials on ancient chalkboards and the savory simmer of every combination of spices imaginable.

Just ok. Food, service, ambiance all just ok. Got seated right away however, since most of their “walls” are the rolling garage type, it was freezing while we ate. Halibut was overcooked, Lobster roll was mostly bread, walnut in my salad tasted old. Fries and crab cake were good.

Always have a delicious meal here! Service was outstanding. Fish always tastes fresh! Calamari was not tough and not over breaded! dipping sauces delicious ! Chilean Seabass melted in my mouth!

Great variety of dishes and drinks. Very busy at 6:45...make a reservation. Parking at mall is ridiculous so plan accordingly. Expensive to valet park but definitely convenient. Doors are behind the building - found it hard to find entrance as there is another restaurant on 2nd floor. I look forward to going back maybe for lunch or early dinner - but not during rush hour.

Our first waiter took forever to show up and get us drinks. Our second waiter ”Nick” came and took over He was prompt took our beverage and appetizer order and answered all questions we had. He was professional and friendly. Nick He made our night awesome! The food was great and Nick provided outstanding service! Thank you for a great night!

Excellent venue for fresh seafood. I had blackened mahi-mahi and my guest had the cioppino. Both entrées were quite good. For desert, we split a bread pudding, which was also quite good. My only complaint is about the parking at valley fair. The only convenient parking is the valet, and that’s $35. So I will be hesitant to return, even though I liked the food. It would’ve been cheaper to take a Lyft or an Uber then to park there.

Everything was great & met all our expectations. Hannah, our server. Was very friendly. The drinks were great & the atmosphere was excellent!!

Our waiter was friendly. However, overall service was very slow. Food was tasty but cold by the time it came to the table. Price was a little overpriced for the overall experience we had.

King’s Fish House has become one of our go-to spots for special occasions, and it didn’t disappoint during our recent anniversary celebration! The food is always absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The service is consistently excellent, with the staff going above and beyond to make every visit feel special. We’ve been back several times over the years, and each experience has been just as enjoyable as the last.
