Service was good and attentive. Very friendly. Steak temperature was cold as well as the coffee cold. But the taste and quality of food is great.

Kirby’s Four Course special menu on NYE did not disappoint! From oysters my wife went gaga over to the steak, it was better than expected , and our expectations run high. It was about 1.5 hours (the only reason it was noted was we had a Spurs game to go to 2 hrs after our reservation). It is BY FAR our favorite steak house in San Antonio. Pass on the downtown Riverwalk stuff and parking hassle. Kirby’s is it.

The restaurant has a nice ambiance until they sit a table that sets up an iPad in front of their kid. I go to the restaurant with my wife to enjoy an adult outing only to hear high pitched cartoons blaring. I might expect this at Chuckie Cheese, but not at what I thought was an upscale steakhouse.

The food and drinks were absolutely amazing. The Victoria’s Secret cocktail was delightfully fruity without being overwhelmingly sweet. The service was excellent. Definitely worth going again.

First time visit to Kirby Prime on Christmas Eve. Of course, it was crowded and hectic yet the service was good considering. The food was perfect. The best french onion soup ever, according to my wife who has tried many. Excellent bread and caesar salad. We both had filets that were nothing short of marvelously prepared and delicious. Our side was augratin potatoes and they, too, were excellent. We will definitely return.
