The Kitchen (formerly Green Springs Bistro) is now open and taking this beloved Safety Harbor dining tradition to the next level on every front. Whether raising a glass among family and friends, enjoying a romantic date night or indulging in exceptional steaks, fresh Gulf seafood or Southern comfort food with a modern twist, you’ll find that time spent here is more delicious than ever.

New owners Rob Doyle and Mary Grasso along with Executive Chef Josh Needham are keeping some of the old menu favorites while introducing an eclectic mix of New American dishes served tapas-style. Our newest editions include a full liquor bar and adding even more charm to this historic bungalow setting: an outdoor pavilion where you can dine under the twinkling oak trees and stars.

Food and Service was excellent. The place is really cool, cool decor and comfortable. Was our first time here. Would definitely recommend this place. It’s not cheap but you are getting elevated food and drinks. Keep doing what you’re doing!

The food was excellent, the scallops were cooked expertly and paired with Bok Choy. Both the entries were good too, the Shrimp and Grits were prepared nicely with sausage and the fillet was cooked nicely and very tender.

Hands down one of our favorite restaurants in the Tampa Bay area. Food and service are always fantastic.

Super cute setting. Lively bar. Service was excellent. Food was amazing. So many menu choices. Will have to go back to sample more menu selections. Bao buns, saganaki, red drum, chicken marsala all excellent. Wine selection reasonable.

Lunch with 3 seniors. Server was excellent. 2 meals were excellent including crab cakes as a meal and mahi mahi sandwich excellent. Hamburger not outstanding so advise stick with seafood.

Best brunch around. I don’t want a stuff yourself buffet; I want to order from the menu. The Kitchen has a nice selection of freshly prepared foods at very reasonable prices. I like several of the menu selections, but love the shrimp and grits! If Bloody Mary’s or Mimosas are your thing…they have you covered! Our favorite brunch spot in the area!

What an amazing evening!!! Greeted upon arrival and immediately taken to our table. We were waiting for another to join us, and she was guided back immediately on her arrival. Service was terrific!! Very engaging and very pleasant. Efficient between server and the food runner. We never had a need to ask for anything. Food was amazing!! Second time visiting from Florida east coast. You won’t find better!!!!
