   The new Kitchen Door in downtown Napa is clearly owned and operated by experienced restaurateurs. The menu is eclectic and understandable, and will satisfy culinary exploration alongside renowned pizza. Each dish is well prepared and presented. The compact Wine list offers a wide range of mostly local bottlings, and the service is welcoming and attentive. I had a hard time deciding (pad thai was delicious), and look forward to my #2 choice next time.

   Server was so kind and patient while my girlfriend and I were deciding on what to get and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. The food was amazing as well as the cocktails. Will definitely be back for more!

   The pancakes are amazing. The service was excellent, everyone was attentive and very nice. Restaurant is clean and conveniently located. The rest of the food needed more spice and innovation. The ideas are good but just need a little better execution.

   It's a good spot for locals. A full bar and variety of cuisine reasonably priced. At times, the food can be spotty.

   Our book group of five went to lunch. We were promptly seated at a very nice booth in a corner. It was spacious and quiet. Our server was helpful and checked in with us often without hovering. We all were happy with our luncheon choices and found the overall dining experience very pleasant.

   Busy night in Napa but The Kitchen Door was excellent on all counts. The food came quickly, got everyone’s order right, great taste and ongoing service, a fun vibe to the restaurant and great value. Always a positive experience.

   Kitchen Door continues to produce a variety of dishes with memorable flavors that leave you wanting more. Todd Humphrey’s passion for all things mushroom is evident throughout the menu from the Mushroom Soup to his seasonal Candy Cap mushroom desserts. We shared the soup, Phad Thai , Fried Rice, Terrine of Duck and Pork, Deviled Eggs and Napa Cabbage with Mushrooms. We then walked a couple of blocks to the Uptown Theater for a show. Another great meal as expected.

    Great restaurant with excellent food. Kinda hidden between parking garages for easy availability.
