Koganei is located on Highway 7 in Woodbridge, Ontario and is an upscale Japanese Seafood restaurant. The service is friendly and all the food is created with fresh ingredients and presented with a cutting edge creative flare. Koganei provides catering services that can accommodate up to 130 people and delivery is available to a limited area.

The menu features a wide assortment of Japanese dishes, such as bento box, tempura, sushi, noodles and robatayaki. Koganei has sushi bar specials that feature king roll, lyoness roll, PC roll, queen roll and a black dynamic roll that is made of carrot, lettuce, salmon skin, massago, spicy mayonnaise and black tobiko.

I didn’t understand many of the reviews I read here. The food is not as fresh as they say. By far, the quality of the ingredients isn’t acceptable. I don’t recommend it.

It was our first time and the whole family was happy we found a new Japanese restaurant to frequent. The food was delicious…except for maybe the Short ribs was a over grilled and was a bit too chewy..but the rest of what we ordered were all delicious. Service was ok. It was busy when we there and a couple more servers would have been nice but it was not too bad. We will go back, for sure!

Food was great. Oysters fresh as they can be. Everything seems very fresh and that is what you want from a sushi place. Service was on point without hovering all the time. Dishes came out at a very nice pace without us feeling like we were rushed.

We celebrated our engagement dinner here. We were so impressed with the staff and their patience answering our questions. The food was so fresh and tasty. They gave us dessert free of charge in us celebrating our engagement. We are going back in 2 weeks with other family and friends.
