Das Essen war vielfältig und sehr lecker. Jedoch hat uns gestört dass manche Gerichte mit Sauce übergossen wurden, ohne dass es im Menü stand. Daher stimmten die Inhaltsstoffe höchstwahrscheinlich nicht. Das Restaurant wurde im Laufe des Abends immer voller und die Bedienung langsamer.

I had a great dining experience at Kushi-Tei of Tokyo in Düsseldorf. The restaurant was crowded but well-managed, and I was lucky to have a reservation—which I highly recommend. Without one, there’s a high chance you won’t find a seat or will have to wait a long time, as I saw a queue forming for walk-ins. As a solo diner, I was seated near the bar, which added to the lively atmosphere. The food was delicious and authentic, making it a memorable experience. If you’re in Düsseldorf and craving quality Japanese food, this place is definitely worth a visit—but make sure to book in advance!

Insgesamt richtig gut. Nur etwas zu wenig sushi bei der spezial Platte. Da hätte man mehr erwartet vorallem etwas was für einen wow Effekt sorgt. Ansonsten war ich sehr zufrieden mit unserem Platz und Aussicht.

Kushi-Tei is a fantastic Japanese Izakaya in Düsseldorf, offering an authentic dining experience with top-quality ingredients. The food was excellent—well-prepared, flavorful, and true to traditional Japanese cuisine. The skewers were grilled to perfection, and the variety on the menu was impressive. Service was friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere. While the pricing is on the higher side, I find it justified given the quality of the ingredients and the overall experience. If you’re looking for a genuine Izakaya experience with great food and service, Kushi-Tei is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!
