Located seaside at Harbour Village Beach Club, La Balandra Bar & Restaurant gives guests the feeling of sailing on the Caribbean Sea.

La Balandra delights guests with breathtaking views and fresh, imaginative cuisine using in-season ingredients delivered right to the restaurant's dock.

Dinner guests have the opportunity to experience over-the-water "aquarium seats" towards the bow of the ship, where LCD lights penetrate through the water to reveal sea creatures swimming by. Dining is available on the beach with advanced reservation, subject to availability, please contact the hotel if interested. An additional set-up charge applies, depending upon party size.

For guests staying outside of the resort, please plan to arrive no more than 15 minutes prior to your reservation. Please make a reservation by phone for parties larger than 6. Harbour Village is a private beach club. Dining at the restaurant does not include the use of our beach or facilities. Thank you.

Posto all’interno dell’Harbour Village, si raggiunge con una breve passeggiata attraverso il parco privato. La struttura si allunga su di un pontile, quasi un veliero, verso il mare e la notte i fari puntati attirano i pesci tutto a torno. Lo staff è preparato e attento, la cucina ci ha conquistato con il pescato del giorno, tonno pinna gialla, servito come entree con una salsa di avocado e jalapeño, e come steak con le verdure stufate. Ottimo il risotto all’aragosta!!! Spesa adeguata! Consigliatissimo!!

The food was of exceptional quality, with generous portions. The service was outstanding, and a special mention goes to Manouk for being so friendly and attentive. The view of the sea, with the large tarpons illuminated by the lights, was truly unforgettable. We will definitely be returning during this vacation!

Entering through a ghost town with empty dark houses did not bring us in the expected mood when entering a fine dining restaurant. The dinner location was fabulous. The food Allright but not excellent and served by trainees. The toilets were poor and not looked after. We will not go again to this place..

We had an outstanding dinner at La Balandro every step of the way. From when we arrived t the resort, unsure we were at the right place (google maps totally inaccurate), the security guard was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and guided us in. Our server was wonderfully welcoming and pleasant, helpful, and appropriately attentive. Drinks were perfect (cocktails and wine). Appetizers were scrumptious and servers went out of their way to bring me plantains in place of bread since I am gluten free. Dinner was exquisite. Atmosphere was wonderful, serene, pretty, and very relaxing. Need I say more? We will go back before our vacation is over! Thank you to everyone there.

My Husband and I chose La Balandra Restaurant, by recommendations, of my best friend. We were celebrating our 35 th year Anniversary, in Bonaire. We couldn’t find the exact location. It is at Harbor Village, but you need to know how to walk back to the restaurant. We called for help and the Owner/Concierge?, met us and walked us back! I call that excellent service! The waitress was amazing! She talked with us all evening. Gave us tips and advice for our planned excursions. The Food! I ordered the Lobster Risotto, and my husband, the catch of the day special. Which was the local fish Wahoo. They tasted well seasoned and perfectly cooked! There was a whole lobster in my risotto! So creamy and delicious!! The cost appropriation is definitely worth it! The drinks are really made well! Very happy with our experience! Thank you for the lovely experience!

The service originally was not friendly - we were directed to a table and then abruptly asked to leave as a mistake was made, said we were not residents so couldn't have a table. Changed when we confirmed we were staying at hotel. Service still slow afterwards. View beautiful over the sea, but unfortunately the food was dreadful - overcooked, ranging between tasteless and too dry to over salted. Lots of fried food, very little for vegetarians. I doubt any of the food we had was freshly cooked. Choice extremely limited generally. Overpriced.

Harbour Village guests are given priority in reservations, but local residents are also welcome, unless we are fully committed for the evening. As for your meal, the Chef is requesting specific feedback so we can investigate what may have gone wrong. We have several menu selections for vegans and vegetarians and cater to special dietary needs frequently.
