Located seaside at Harbour Village Beach Club, La Balandra Bar & Restaurant gives guests the feeling of sailing on the Caribbean Sea.

La Balandra delights guests with breathtaking views and fresh, imaginative cuisine using in-season ingredients delivered right to the restaurant's dock.

Dinner guests have the opportunity to experience over-the-water "aquarium seats" towards the bow of the ship, where LCD lights penetrate through the water to reveal sea creatures swimming by. Dining is available on the beach with advanced reservation, subject to availability, please contact the hotel if interested. An additional set-up charge applies, depending upon party size.

For guests staying outside of the resort, please plan to arrive no more than 15 minutes prior to your reservation. Please make a reservation by phone for parties larger than 6. Harbour Village is a private beach club. Dining at the restaurant does not include the use of our beach or facilities. Thank you.

                                            Posto all’interno dell’Harbour Village, si raggiunge con una breve passeggiata attraverso il parco privato. La struttura si allunga su di un pontile, quasi un veliero, verso il mare e la notte i fari puntati attirano i pesci tutto a torno. Lo staff è preparato e attento, la cucina ci ha conquistato con il pescato del giorno, tonno pinna gialla, servito come entree con una salsa di avocado e jalapeño, e come steak con le verdure stufate. Ottimo il risotto all’aragosta!!! Spesa adeguata! Consigliatissimo!!

                                            We had a group of 8, and after we paid the bill and were walking out they tried to shake us down for a 20% surcharge. (We had already given a 20% tip even though the service was very slow.) The food and location were great, but the attitude of the manager (he couldn’t seem to decide whether the surcharge applied to groups of 8 or more, or for groups of greater than 8) left a bad taste.

                                            Breakfast was delicious and so enjoyable in the lovely setting by the sea. The surrounding gardens are breathtaking. The security and privacy offered by the congenial staff makes one feel cozy and relaxed. From the moment we entered the grounds of Harbour Village, we had a sense of relaxation and enjoyment that continued through the day. In other words, what a lovely way to start the day!

                                            We stayed at Harbor Village and ate at La Balandra many times. The food is actually quite good, and the prices aren't too bad. The servers are very sweet, and the view is great! The only issues we've had is that the food doesn't necessarily taste like you are expecting. I found that it good to be open to similar, but different flavors. And the service is Really Slow. We waited over an hour for our lunch on more than one occasion. If you are in a hurry, be the first in the door.
