Nothing else in New York quite matches the atmosphere of La Caverna. Cavern isn’t just part of the name – it is the décor as well! You’ll get the instant impression that you are deep in a cave far below the earth’s crust, but with none of the dankness you might find in a real cave. The menu is relatively short but sufficient for a bar atmosphere. If you’re putting together a party and looking for somewhere unique, La Caverna should be at the top of your list. With wings, croquettes, salads, lamb sliders, calamari, mac n’ cheese, grilled chicken, grilled cheese and a burger, there are plenty of munchie items to keep the party going. The cocktail list has something for everyone to make the night fun at La Caverna.

the quality of the drinks were subpar. everything else is ok. the place it self is very nice.

The food was very disappointing. Great drinks really good margaritas. And the service was nice but the food was really really bad

The service was great, and it’s a unique restaurant so the ambience is fun. However, the food was nothing. The shrimp tacos were frozen shrimp that had just been barely reheated and thrown in corn shells. Then added a little sauce and pickled onions. The highlight of the meal was the chips and pico.

We were there on Taco Tuesday and the place was absolutely packed! Our server turned out to be the manager of the restaurant and she kept apologizing for the time it took for our food. It was totally fine and we were not in a rush. She gave us a round of drinks on the house for it as well. The food was great, service was great, and the cave atmosphere was great. Plus, Taco Tuesday happy hour prices were unbelievably low for NYC. I will 100% be going back next time I’m in the city.

This had a great atmosphere and the food was delicious. Amazing quality for the price and all the food came out very quickly! Would definitely go there again. If there's a reservation spot available, TAKE IT!

This was the first time for us and it was great. I made a reservation, we were seated and we ordered the Staff was great and could tell we were catching up so they didn't bother us and checked inas needed but didn't hover which was great. We had some diatery restrictions and they managed to make that work as well which was amazing. We also went on a week day which was not as busy but was still full. Noise level was not bad at all and the ambiance was nice. We will go back I'm sure.

Spot was decent. Food was ok. This is a place I would go to if I’m in the area or I stumble upon though. Service was excellent the waitresses were really nice.

La Caverna was amazing!!! My girlfriend and I went on a Tuesday for Taco Tuesday and the tacos did not disappoint! We had the chicken, beef and veggie tacos from the taco Tuesday menu and then we had an order of shrimp tacos (not part of taco Tuesday deal). We also had mango and passion fruit margaritas and they were soo good!!! 10/10 experience. Totally recommend!!!

The restaurant was beautiful! Food and drinks were really good. The service was not so great. The waitresses were rude , my friend didn’t like her drink , so she asked to switch her drink for something else and the waitress seemed upset about it. When she returned with her new drink she slammed it on the table and walked away. Extremely rude and unprofessional.
