A modern take on the classic trattoria. The menu celebrates traditional Italian cuisine with an array of classic dishes with contemporary influences. When booking your reservation, you will be charged a deposit of $50 (+tax) per person. This reservation fee will be applied to the final bill upon completion of your meal. For a full refund of your reservation fee, we require a minimum of 7 days advance notice for cancellations or adjustments to your reservation. Cancellation of your reservation within 7 days, including reducing the number of guests in your party, relinquishes your prepaid menu fee. Should you no longer be able to make your reservation, you are welcome to transfer it to someone else, as you would tickets to a concert, the theater, or sports match.

    Service was very disappointing. Our reservation was at 7:15 and we were promptly seated. Then it took 20 min to be greeted by a waiter and 30 minutes to get water. We were at our table for 45 minutes before we ordered and served wine (a sommelier was supposed to come over but was no where to be found so our waiter helped). Dishes were slow to come out with our last course arriving at 9:05p. Food was decent, bolognese was the best dish. I asked to speak with a manager and no one showed. Truly disappointing experience.

We truly appreciate you taking the time to let us know. We take reviews very seriously and we appreciate the feedback.     The resturant has great ambience and vibes. Staff was friendly and timely. I wish there was an available table seating though I made reservations only bar top was available. The food was nicely portioned and delicious.

    great drinks, love the ambiance, the food was wonderful and our waiter - Rudy was fantastic... he just dialed in on our special evening and enhanced it.

    With my holiday bonus, I wanted to treat my partner out to a new spot for date night. He actually works at UCSF down the road and he has been eyeing this restaurant for a while. The place is gorgeous, parking is easy to find, and the ambience is striking. The menu has enough options but not too much that it makes choosing an item a hassle. The extensive wine list was appreciated since my partner loves wine. They didn’t have the red wine that we chose, but the sommelier helped choose a similar one. In terms of the food, the pasta dishes were excellent, as well as the squid appetizer. The liver mousse was the best I’ve had in the city. The arancini could have been served a bit hotter since it was a bit cold, but the crunch and filling was excellent. The service staff was very attentive. Please don’t get me wrong, I would rather have attentive staff over staff that forgets that you’re even there. But pouring wine, refilling water, and asking how things are constantly was a little too much. One sip of water, and you have someone refilling it right away. It just cut the flow of conversation on an intimate date night to the point of forgetting what we were talking about because we would pause and thank the waiters every time. Maybe checking in once in a while or waiting until our wine or water cups are depleted before coming back to the table would be appreciated.

    We came here to celebrate my friends bday. We had a variety of items from their appetizers with the focaccia flat bread to their burrata, to their pastas, and 2 entree items of their black cod and their chicken. Everything was really good but we felt that it was a little salty. Service was excellent!

    Pizza is especially excellent but everything we had was delicious. We ate at the bar, where the bartenders are talented and very attentive. Thank you, Igor! Pasta was a little too al dente but they replaced it quickly with a properly cooked serving that was on the house. A wonderful overall experience. Beautiful space…a much-needed addition to the neighborhood. We appreciated the service orientation of everyone and will be back soon. Grazie!

    This was our second time dining here. The service was attentive both times. Like last time, there was a timing problem with delivery of cocktails and first courses. We are people that like to enjoy our cocktail for awhile before food arrives, and that was not the case either time. I ordered the lemon pasta dish again and found it to be just okay. My husband and son both enjoyed their chicken entrees. With the exception of the burrata appetizer, all the starters were good. We found the burrata itself to lack flavor, though the beet and citrus in the salad were good. The desserts were very good.

    One of our favorite places, the food is delicious. We had exceptional service from Andra, we always have great service but she was a level above!
